    Cybersecurity Governance Analyst

    About The Role

    • This is a high-impact, collaborative role responsible for driving outcomes within the Information Security team. You would be working with relevant stakeholders across the different teams within the organization to implement Information Security standards and ensure the organization maintains compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • As a Cyber Security Governance & Risk Analyst at Fincra, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems and data, by setting policies, monitoring compliance, and following defined procedures to identify, assess and manage risks from external and internal threats, all guided by the organization’s view of risk.
    • This position is responsible for overseeing the risk management process and contributing to the resolution of complex issues by working with risk owners, general business managers, or colleagues in other departments such as Engineering, to manage policies and risks in the context of the organization’s high-level objectives and values.
    • The ideal candidate has technical knowledge and expertise that will help define and implement robust security strategies, frameworks, and governance processes.

    Reporting Relationships & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Report to the CISO and working as part of the busy Cybersecurity Governance unit and the Information Security Team
    • Working collaboratively with other Cybersecurity Governance & Risk Analysts, our CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, Marketing, HR, and Compliance to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements are being carried out in a professional, timely manner.
    • Strong working relationship with Managing Team / Directors / Team Leads around the business.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Collaborate with other members of the Information security team to perform risk assessment and recommend changes to procedures and systems to comply with global Information security standards.
    • Collaborate with other members of the Information security team to provide a review of the organization’s ability to protect its information assets and its preparedness against cyber threats.
    • Ensure required Information Security policies and procedures are reviewed and updated in line with the Management System Standards.
    • Carry out periodic internal reviews/audits to ensure that documented IT and cybersecurity procedures are followed.
    • Ensure that the organization complies with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Evaluate the security posture of third-party vendors and work with them to meet security requirements.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with Information Security policies and procedures according to PCI DSS regulatory standards.
    • Work together with other members of the team to ensure the organization maintains the PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certification.
    • Work together with cross-business units to manage policies and risks in the context of the organization’s objectives and values.
    • Other duties as assigned by the CISO.

    What you’ll need

    • Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience as a Cyber Security Governance & Risk Analyst.
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree certificate.
    • ISO/IEC 27001/27017/27032 Lead Implementer Certified is desirable.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, especially in producing formal documents that are comprehensive and without ambiguities.
    • Ability to assess the likelihood (taking account of vulnerabilities and threats) and impact of cyber-attack techniques and deliberate or unintentional damaging actions by people within the organization.
    • Ability to present logical, objective reasons for all decisions made.
    • Ability to encourage and support colleagues, including those in other departments, to achieve shared objectives.
    • Ability to work effectively within organizational policies, procedures, and security & legal constraint.s
    • Experience in applying risk management methodologies.
    • Ability to assess the compliance of procedures and practice with agreed standards
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Self-motivated individual who is adaptive to change.

    Head of Finance

    Role Overview

    • This role is responsible for the development of a robust financial strategy and metrics that track the achievement of the overall corporate goals.
    • The role holder is required to continuously monitor and develop control systems designed to produce accurate financial results and preserve the organisation’s assets.

    What you will be doing everyday

    Financial Management:

    • Responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company operations.
    • Ensure that the company’s financing requirements are consistently met, and that capital structure is optimized at all points in time.
    • Continuous review of the company’s performance, identify and appraise business risks/ opportunities and make appropriate recommendations for business growth and development.
    • Effective management of the company’s balance sheet to achieve corporate goals.

    Strategic Management:

    • Develop, organize and evaluate the organisation’s fiscal function and performance.
    • Articulate the organisation’s financial strategies and ensure alignment the company strategic priorities.
    • Participate in the development of the organisation’s overall strategic goals.
    • Champion the implementation of the Finance function’s strategy ensuring alignment with organisation’s corporate strategy and business goals.
    • Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual budget and monitor its implementation.
    • Develop credibility for the Finance function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and associated trends to assist Executive Management in performing their duties.

    Information Management:

    • Ensure all databases are updated with accurate information from internal and external sources to enhance the company’s competitiveness and business ranking.
    • Establishes an appropriate management information system for collation, monitoring and reporting purposes.

    Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maximize business relationship with Bankers, Finance & General Purpose/Audit committees of the Board of Directors and regulatory officials.
    • Ensures the company operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulation and Accounting standards applicable to its operations.

    Status Reporting:

    • Regular preparation and reporting of the company’s financial position.
    • Regular preparation and reporting of cash flow statement.

    Cost Optimization:

    • Monitor the company’s operating base costs and highlight factors impacting effective cost management towards achieving a low-cost business environment.
    • Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards. Support the Procurement of equipment and solutions.
    • Supervise costing, management accounting, financial accounting and treasury activities.
    • Control credit limits and approvals for customers.

    Tax, Regulatory / Statutory Compliance:

    • Develop effective tax planning strategies and oversee the filing of all tax returns.
    • Ensure that the organization complies with all Tax regulations.

    Investor Relations:

    • Coordinate investor relations’ activities including preparation of communications such as presentations and press releases.

    Main Competencies

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; CFA/ACCA/ICAN.
    • 10-12 years financial management experience in a Fintech, Big 4 consulting or tier 1 commercial bank.
    • Experience as a Financial Controller or a similar role in Start-up Company in Tech or Big 4 Consulting firm, with mastery of Cost Accounting Standards, pricing and managing cost-based proposals/contracts, Principles, and other procurement regulations.
    • Experience in Fund-raising rounds pre-seed or Series.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
    • Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
    • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
