    Operations Manager

    Job Summary:

    Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Manage and direct the operations team to achieve business targets.
    • Plans and organizes daily activities related to operations.
    • Assist in developing or updating standard operating procedures for all business operational activities.
    • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
    • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful operations.
    • Oversees the shipping and receiving functions.
    • Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
    • Assists with budget preparation for the operations unit.
    • Coordinates with marketing and sales departments to determine pricing, timing, and number of sales promotions and products to be sold.
    • Assists with, or prepares and updates, the organization's operations manual, and policies.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
    • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
    • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
    • Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) is preferred.
    • Ten years of related experience is required.

    Internal Auditor

    Responsibilities:

    The suitably qualified candidate would be responsible for the following:

    • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
    • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
    • Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks.
    • Guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines.
    • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
    • Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit’s results and document the processes.
    • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
    • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
    • Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
    • Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum
    • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions
    • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

    Work experience:

    • Minimum of 7 – 10 years experience in a similar role is mandatory (e.g. Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor).

    Qualifications/ Skill /Abilities:

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, exposure to ERP systems, accounting software, and databases
    • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
    • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
    • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
    • Sound independent judgment.
    • High initiative and ability to work with no supervision
