Assist Drilling Supervisor in the implementation of drilling, workover, completion and testing programs.
Safeguard the company’s asset and environment (e.g. wells, materials, and equipment)
Supervise the drilling contractors and service employees to deliver the highest quality performance and technical integrity of the wells. Adhering to the global and local technical standards.
Verify that all contractors adhere to and are fully aware of company well control policy and Procedures. Also effective manage emergency response plans for well operations.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to assist the drilling superintendents/well operations delivery manager
Follow management of change procedures and report any deviations to the program and/or Non-planned events to the Senior Well Engineer (SWE).
To provide continuous, accurate, clear and concise information to the SWE on any aspect of the rig operation and when necessary on continuous twenty-four (24) hours per day basis.
Communicate learnings and advise on potential areas of performance improvement or improved value to the SWE
Responsible for the creation of well site reports and verifications of drilling data.
Ensure accuracy of the data and timely close out of reports. Also responsible for the timely sending and quality of the daily operations report.
Verify and sign off job tickets and WCCs for jobs performed at the well site
Job Requirements
Minimum of 10+ years of Experience in the oil and gas industry with at least 5 years as Night Drilling Supervisor with relevant experience.
IWCF Level 4 (Drilling/Intervention Wellsite Supervisor) is mandatory.
Supervision of Well operations including drilling, completions, cementing, workovers, logistics, etc. for rig programs.
Ensure that rig activities are executed as designed and seek appropriate approvals for deviations from the objectives.
Establish and maintain HSE plans to execute drilling and completion/well intervention operations in accordance with GOAL Zero.
Accountable for the investigation of incidents and compliance with the company incident management requirements.
Delivery of continuous HSE and Performance improvement through drilling contractor by building and maintaining an effective contract management plan.
Compliance with Rules, and regulations, in the operating area.
Ensure performance delivery of a quality well: in time and in the budget, meeting the agreed primary objectives stated in the well functional specification and further worked out in detail in the Well design/technical specification.
Identify, initiate, and implement Technical Limit Drilling activities in the detailed planning and execution phases of assigned well projects (Best Practices screening, DWOP, Pre-spud, well section reviews, and briefings of rig team and contractors).
Job Requirements
Minimum 15+ years of Drilling experience (including 5 years at supervisor/ superintendent level).
Proven experience in field operations
IWCF Level 4 (Drilling/Intervention Wellsite Supervisor) is mandatory.
Age bracket 40-58 years
