Job Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for a wide range of medical conditions and illnesses.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and laboratory results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide expert consultations, refer patients to specialists or higher-level medical care when necessary, and coordinate patient management.
• Review and update patients' medical histories, current symptoms, and relevant clinical information to guide accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, or treatments appropriate to patients’ conditions.
• Monitor patient progress after treatment or diagnostic procedures, ensuring proper recovery and ongoing care.
• Provide emergency care and stabilize patients in urgent situations before referral or transfer to hospitals.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the performance of nursing and support staff to ensure adherence to protocols and quality patient care.
• Work closely with radiologists and lab scientists to ensure timely and accurate test results.
• Participate in community health programs or initiatives to promote the clinic's services and foster public health awareness.
• Prepare and submit reports on clinical activities, patient outcomes, and resource utilization to management.
• Work with the customer service department to manage patient schedules, reduce wait times, and optimize clinic workflow.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS).
• Full registration and a current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• 1 - 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a clinic or diagnostic center setting.
• Ability to read and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory reports accurately.
• Strong patient interaction skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatments, and procedures in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical software for documenting patient information and accessing diagnostics.
• Ability to remain calm and focused, especially in emergency situations.
• Maintaining high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
• Precision in maintaining patient records, prescribing medications, and following treatment protocols.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple responsibilities within the clinic.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow for clinical investigations and studies and assist patients in accessing medical services, including scheduling.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, such as sample collection, phlebotomy, and IV cannulation.
• Record and monitor patient vital signs, identifying and acting on any abnormalities.
• Provide nursing concierge services and assist with emergency management procedures.
• Liaise with the lab, radiology, and dental departments to ensure timely delivery of reports and results through the front Desk.
• Ensure instruments are sterilized, safely stored, and ready for use while following safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain EEG & ECG machines and assist the radiology team during testing.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic testing, including administering medications or drawing blood, and monitor them throughout the procedure.
• Ensure the emergency tray is fully stocked and assist in emergencies.
• Assist doctors during procedures, prepare patients for consultations, and record vital signs.
• Familiarize patients with procedures by answering questions, explaining tests, and managing expectations.
• Stay vigilant for potential hazards to ensure patient safety and smooth facility operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current Nursing License (registered with the relevant Nursing Council).
• At least 3 years of nursing experience; experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in IV management, patient assessments, and emergency response.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
• Competency in using basic diagnostic and medical equipments.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance with health regulations.
• Familiarity with diagnostic procedures and equipments,
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols.
