    Director of Operations

    Job Summary

    • As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of Sproxil's operations in Nigeria.
    • You will oversee a diverse range of functions, including the day-to-day operations oflarge international client projects in coordination with department leaders at Sproxil responsible for sales, client servicing, technology and finance.
    • In your role, you will ensure that all aspects of these large client projects are running efficiently and effectively.

    Responsibilities
    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing operational strategies that align with Sproxil's overall objectives and goals for large international client projects.
    • Team Leadership:Recruiting, training, and developing operations staff, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Operational Excellence: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of large client projects, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance with relevant regulations, and stellar customer satisfaction. Proactivelyidentifying and resolving operational problems and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing project budgets, forecasting project expenses, and ensuring financial responsibility within set budgets.
    • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing contingency plans.
    • Business Continuity: Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure Sproxil can continue to operate effectively in the event of disruptions or crises.
    • Supply Chain Management: Overseeing the procurement, logistics, and distribution of goods and services within large client projects.
    • Quality Control: Ensuring that products or services meet quality standards, and implementing quality control measures to prevent defects or errors.
    • Customer Service: Developing and implementing customer service strategies to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Change Management: Leading and managing change initiatives, including process changes, system implementations, and organizational restructuring within large client projects.
    • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
    • Innovation: Encouraging innovation and experimentation, and identifying opportunities to improve operations through new technologies, processes, and strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in operations or a related field, with a strong background in consulting or general management.
    • Leadership: Proven ability to supervise directly and motivate teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective operational plans. Exceptional analytical thinker who does not feel comfortable making big decisions without supporting data.
    • Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of operational processes and best practices, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software, logistics systems, and large client project management software.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

    Job Summary

    • As the Operations Head, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our tech-enabled survey administration business.
    • You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our projects, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities
    Operational Management:

    • Oversee the entire operational lifecycle of survey projects, from design and development to execution and analysis.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of survey operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
    • Recruit, hire, and train qualified survey team members to build a high-performing operations team.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.

    Process Improvement:

    • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex operations and projects.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
    • Experience with survey administration tools and methodologies is required.
    • Strong proficiency in survey dash-boarding and first-line analysis tools, including Excel and PowerBI.
