    General Manager, Instrumentation

    Description

    Dangote Cement Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading manufacturing conglomerates, is seeking a General Manager, Instrumentation at Ibese Plant. As a key member of the plant management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overall control and management of all critical instrumentation systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain all instrumentation and control systems for the cement plant.
    • Ensure the availability and reliability of all instrumentation and control systems for the cement plant.
    • Develop and manage control systems projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the cement plant.
    • Ensure that all instrumentation and control systems comply with relevant safety, health and environmental standards.
    • Develop and manage the department's annual budget and control expenditures to meet the financial objectives of Dangote Cement Plc.
    • Manage all instrumentation and control systems staff to ensure high performance and motivation.
    • Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safety, product quality, and production targets are met.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manager, Electrical

    Description

    Overseeing the maintenance of electrical equipment for optimum performance, raises indent for replacement of spare parts and provides maintenance support for shift operations.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning, coordination, and control of efficient maintenance execution of all Electrical Installations and activities.
    • Ensure completion of electrical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety, and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability.
    • Ensures smooth running of the unit and gives regular feedback.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 15 years related job experience with at least 5 years in leadership cadre.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Good knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes
    • Expert knowledge of maintenance management methods, predictive inspection tools, and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System),
    • Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation,

    • Good knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM
