    Community Manager

    Overview:

    Join Busha as a Community Manager and bring your creativity, passion for digital transformation, and proven expertise in community management to help drive our brand to new heights. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for building an army of Busha loyalists across multiple platforms through online and offline engagement. This role requires a highly organised, empathetic, and strategic communicator who can drive engagement, gather insights, and contribute to Busha’s growth and reputation building.

    Responsibilities:

    • Community & Engagement: Develop and maintain active and positive engagement with community members across community platforms, social media channels, forums, and messaging platforms.
    • Growth & Outreach: Implement strategies to grow the community by identifying new audiences, partnering with influencers, and collaborating on marketing campaigns. Aim to build a community of loyalists.
    • Content Creation & Curation: Create and share valuable content, respond to discussions, and stimulate community conversations to drive engagement and brand awareness.
    • Customer Support & Feedback Loop: Address community questions, concerns, and feedback efficiently, escalating to relevant teams as necessary. Communicate key insights from the community to product and marketing teams to inform improvements.
    • Event Management: Organize and lead online and offline events, such as webinars, Q&A sessions, AMAs (Ask Me Anything), and community hangouts, to build rapport and strengthen community bonds.
    • Brand Advocacy & Reputation Management: Act as a brand ambassador, fostering trust and loyalty within the community. Monitor conversations about Busha across platforms, maintaining a positive brand image.
    • User Onboarding & Education: Support new users in onboarding to the platform, answering questions, and helping them navigate Busha’s offerings.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyse community engagement metrics, user sentiment, and campaign performance, using insights to optimise community strategies.

    Candidate Must Have;

    • 2-3 years of experience in content writing, preferably within the tech, finance, or cryptocurrency industry.
    • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital finance concepts.
    • Creativity: Innovative thinker who can initiate and execute creative strategies to enhance engagement and user experience that align with brand objectives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail and creativity.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and campaigns simultaneously.
    • Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform content and strategy decisions.
    • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram, Circle), and basic analytics tools.
    • Ability to handle sensitive topics and resolve conflicts with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
    • Adaptability: Stay current with changing social media trends and platform updates.
    • Event Planning Experience: Prior experience organising virtual or physical events, especially those aimed at community building.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Experience in community management and influencer outreach.

    Legal & Compliance Manager

    Overview: 

    We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Compliance Manager with a legal background, you will be responsible for ensuring that Busha complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Your primary objective will be to expand our business into new markets and ensure we implement our business structure within the Fintech industry. You will collaborate closely with Product managers, Customer Support, and other stakeholders to bridge the gap between development and operations while adhering to strict industry regulations specific to cryptocurrency and fintech.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal advice to management and provide support to the board of directors as needed.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal instruments.
    • Oversee internal communication, providing support and establishing relationships with other teams like Product, Support, and HR.
    • Manage client due diligence and client onboarding program, conducting KYC compliance for retail and corporate customers, conducting AML checks, intake controls, sanctions screening and counter-terrorism finance checks for customers.
    • Improve our compliance processes by utilizing technology for KYB and KYC reviews, contract management, ongoing monitoring, transaction monitoring, financial crime investigations, fraud investigations, sanctions screening, and related purposes.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance plan and policies using international best practices, including regular review, and revamping of policies and procedures.
    • Work closely with support and product to simplify the processes and onboard businesses.
    • Conduct internal relevant investigations and risk assessments and manage law enforcement requests and data subject access requests.
    • Manage partnerships with external counsel across various countries.
    • Manage the company’s internal data protection audit program and ensure compliance with the Nigerian Data Protection Bureau.

    The ideal employee must have;

    • A qualified lawyer
    • 7+ years of proven work experience in legal or compliance roles
    • 2+ years of proven work experience in legal or compliance management roles
    • Strong understanding of business/economics and legal matters
    • Experience managing contracts and litigation matters
    • Experience obtaining licences.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations for legal business set-up
    • Multi-jurisdictional experience

    Nice to Have;

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
    • Master’s degree in law, business or a related field
    • Ability to think proactively and be a self-starter
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

    Senior Technical Product Manager

    Overview: 

    We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with a passion finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our products.

    You will work with other designers and cross-functional team members and will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions. Your duties may also include training new employees and maintaining open communication with other departments during the design process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
    • Work with Dev, Engineering and account management teams to develop data-driven ROI case for product roadmap priorities and initiatives.
    • Understand, research and follow technical trends in the industry and in general
    • Identify customer pain points and propose solutions.
    • Own the end-to-end delivery of large, high-impact product changes, from inception to implementation and launch.
    • Work with product designers to whiteboard, develop, and refine clear & intuitive user experiences.
    • Lead market-driven product launches, beta programs and new product introductions including developing GTM strategy.
    • Ensure product delivery meets deadlines and quality standards
    • Define and analyse metrics to guide product development
    • Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly
    • Assess and address technical risks
    • Facilitate the production and maintenance of proper product documentation

    The ideal candidate must have

    • 5+ years of product management experience
    • Strong background in software engineering
    • Experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle
    • Be autonomous and comfortable working with ambiguity
    • An eye for good design
    • Experience delivering technical products, ideally working with integrations, API’s.

    Busha Tribe Campus Coordinator (Volunteer)

    Busha Tribe is the community playground for all Busha customers. We share direct updates, member-only campaigns and events, tips for your crypto journey, as well as games and rewards. Our community members can interact with each other and stay up to date with everything happening in the crypto world.

    It's never too early to get involved in crypto and set yourself up for a future of financial independence. As a Tribe Campus Coordinator, you'll build an exciting crypto community on your campus, engaging students and staff while onboarding new users to Busha.

    Responsibilities:

    • Grow Busha’s adoption among students and staff by showcasing the app’s features and services.
    • Plan and host events on campus to foster greater community engagement.
    • Onboard and engage your campus community virtually on Circle, our community platform, providing updates from the team and responding to comments and queries.
    • Share ideas on how Busha can further collaborate with your institution to reach a wider audience.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate about crypto and willing to learn.
    • Enrolled in a tertiary institution with at least one year left until graduation (enrollment will be verified).
    • Active member of a student association or club.
    • Experience with event planning.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Social media management experience is a plus (proficiency with platforms like TikTok is advantageous).
