    IT Executive / Network Administrator

    Job Summary

    • The IT Executive / Network Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the organisation’s entire IT and network infrastructure across all facilities nationwide.
    • This position supports the IT Lead in overseeing departmental operations, including network administration, systems security, software and web development, IT support, and cloud infrastructure.
    • The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly technical, and capable of balancing both leadership and operational responsibilities, from configuring firewalls to collaborating with software developers on new application rollouts.

    Key Responsibilities
    Network and Systems Administration:

    • Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across all facilities, including laying cables, configuring routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking devices.
    • Set up and administer servers (both cloud and on-premises), including Active Directory, group policies, and user access control.
    • Configure, maintain, and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and other network security systems to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
    • Handle domain registration, DNS configuration, and SSL certificate management to ensure secure and reliable access to hospital websites and portals.
    • Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues, and optimise for reliability and efficiency.
    • Manage and maintain PBX systems such as 3CX and other VoIP solutions for our call centers.
    • Administer and optimize AWS Cloud Infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM roles, and related cloud services.

    IT Project Oversight and Development Support:

    • Serve as the point of contact with in-house and external developers to conceptualise and plan new IT web applications.
    • Participate in the design and development phase by offering technical input to merge the applications with the organisation’s needs.
    • Ensure that all applications adhere to security and performance standards required in a healthcare setting.
    • Conduct thorough testing of web applications and hospital software products to identify bugs and ensure functionality in line with business requirements.
    • Create testing scenarios, confirm that all features work as intended, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
    • Maintain documentation of testing processes and results, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with software developers during project iterations, testing, and deployment, ensuring system compatibility and optimal performance.
    • Support the IT Lead in managing the IT unit, such as Support, Web Development, and Systems Administration.

    Technical Support and Operations:

    • Provide direct IT support when needed, including installing and configuring hardware, software, operating systems, and network peripherals.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users across multiple sites.
    • Set up and maintain email systems (Outlook, Gmail), shared drives, and other collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
    • Manage IT asset inventory, ensuring proper documentation of hardware, software licenses, and warranties.
    • Maintain backup and disaster recovery systems, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.

    Training, Documentation, and Compliance:

    • Work with the team in developing and updating user guides, how-to manuals, and technical documentation for all systems and services.
    • Conduct staff training sessions on new and existing IT systems to promote effective use and cybersecurity awareness.
    • Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and security standards across the organization.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT architecture, configurations, and operating procedures for internal reference and audits.

    Other Duties:

    • Assist the IT Lead in developing IT budgets, procurement plans, and technology upgrade strategies.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or improvements to optimize operations and strengthen security.
    • Provide after-hours or on-call support for critical systems as needed.
    • Other duties as required for the job role

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration, systems administration, or IT infrastructure management.
    • Professional certifications strongly preferred, such as:
      • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
      • Cisco CCNA/CCNP
      • Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate)
      • ITIL Foundation (added advantage)
    • Proven experience managing LAN/WAN networks, including cabling, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user access control.
    • Experience managing cloud environments, particularly AWS (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, etc.).
    • Practical experience working with PBX/VoIP systems, preferably 3CX.
    • Ability to configure and maintain firewalls, SSL certificates, DNS, and other network security tools.
    • Knowledge of web applications, SDLC, and the ability to collaborate with developers on system design, testing, and deployment.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, system guides, and user manuals.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
    • Willingness to provide after-hours or on-call support when required.

    Salary
    N400,000 monthly.

    IT Operations & Web Specialist

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a versatile IT professional with strong web development experience who is also comfortable with systems administration, user support, and managing IT infrastructure across multiple organizations.
    • You’ll work closely with the IT Lead to support operations across multiple hospitals and business units within our group. If you enjoy working across development, IT operations, and projects that have real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities
    Web Development & Product Support:

    • Build, maintain, and update internal and external websites using Laravel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
    • Work closely with external developers on new product rollouts and updates
    • Monitor the uptime and performance of all websites using monitoring tools
    • Support in app and web project testing, including bug logging, feedback collection, and user experience improvement
    • Maintain project trackers, SOPs, and documentation
    • Serve as a liaison between IT, management, vendors, and end users
    • Track KPIs such as system uptime, resolution times, and adoption rates

    ERP & System Deployment:

    • Lead or support the deployment of ERP systems to client organizations
    • Handle data migration, user setup, and system configuration
    • Plan and oversee multiple training sessions for staff across departments
    • Work directly with end-user departments to ensure full adoption and ongoing support
    • Maintain a centralized knowledge base (FAQs, guides, walkthroughs)

    Cloud & Server Management:

    • Manage AWS EC2 servers and cloud infrastructure; monitor performance and billing
    • Oversee domain and DNS management, web hosting accounts, and server security
    • Use cPanel and WHM to maintain hosting environments and handle deployment

    IT Infrastructure & Technical Support:

    • Provide hands-on and remote technical support to staff across multiple locations
    • Set up and troubleshoot laptops, network devices, printers, and peripherals
    • Manage and respond to tickets, escalating complex issues as needed
    • Assist in maintaining basic cybersecurity protocols across devices and platforms
    • Support phishing simulations, password policies, and user awareness training
    • Document and monitor IT risks and coordinate with the IT Lead on response actions.

    Qualifications
    Required:

    • BSc or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
    • 5 years of Web development experience in one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, React, or Vue
    • Exposure to version control systems like Git
    • Familiarity with APIs and basic database queries.

    IT Assistant

    Summary

    • PPS is seeking a trainable IT Assistant to provide administrative and first-level technical support to team members.

    Job Description
    Office Assistance:

    • Assist team members with organizing files, scanning documents, making photocopies, and scheduling meetings.
    • Process orders for equipment, including sourcing vendors, obtaining invoices, and processing requests.
    • Collect and receive orders from vendors, distribute orders to various centers, and run other errands as needed.
    • Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the IT Team.
    • Record information in databases and generate reports and documents.
    • Assist with the configuration and connection of peripheral equipment (e.g., printers, monitors, scanners) to computer systems.
    • Provide basic equipment support across centers, including setup, troubleshooting, and cleaning of hardware.
    • Perform routine checks on CCTV systems, attendance scanners, walkie-talkies, and other IT gadgets to ensure proper functionality.
    • Run daily website downtime tests and generate monthly reports to track performance.

    Basic IT Support & Troubleshooting:

    • Assist in the installation and configuration of Windows operating systems and software applications, ensuring systems are up-to-date.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues, escalating to senior IT staff when necessary.

    Application Testing:

    • Test and retest multiple web and mobile applications.
    • Identify bugs, software defects, and inconsistencies.

    Other:

    Requirements

    • Ability to perform basic laptop repairs (e.g., replacing hard drives, system setup).
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas.
