    Inventory Associate

    Job Summary:

    To provide support for all Inventory management activities in the region to all departments in order to achieve their operational targets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement the company’s policies and guidelines with regards to Inventory management process while supporting regional operations’ needs
    • Ensure completeness in all deliveries to the region with real time documentation of same.
    • Coordinate all daily requisitions from user departments following the guidelines in fulfilling the orders received through PARIC.
    • Liaise with the Head for stock replenishment based on the material requirement plan for the region.
    • Document all daily transactions, post same on SUN Application.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly Inventory management report.
    • Perform cyclic stock checks and quarterly Stock count for proper stock accountability for the region.
    • Coordinate the end of year stock count for the region.
    • Prepare and send to Headquarter a list of faulty equipment for repair and liaise with Headquarter for directive on same, on a quarterly basis.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • B.Sc./HND in Social or Management Sciences or related field.
    • Documentation skills.
    • Inventory Management skills.
    • Professional Qualification in Supply Management (added advantage).
    • Basic understanding of Inventory Management.
    • Minimum of 2 years in inventory Management.

    Direct Sales Executive

    Job Summary:

    • The Direct sales executive (DSE) is responsible for driving sales increase of all ipNX retail products (FOS) within the territory he works in. She/he must recruit new subscribers through personal engagement and follow up. The DSE must be able to develop relationships with Estate managers, facility managers and any key stakeholder. DSE’s must be able to win back churned customers and re-build broken relationships.

    Responsibilities:

    • The DSE must recruit 30 subscribers or more every month.
    • Must be able to negotiate terms of an agreement to a satisfactory Level and close sales with minimal supervision.
    • The DSE must maintain and grow a prospect list. This pipeline report must be submitted on a daily basis – 10 unique prospects everyday.
    • Must carry out route mapping to identify potential and existing customers with given territory.
    • Cold call potential customers in a bid to get a foot in the door
    • Effectively act as brand ambassadors and first point of contact to potential customers
    • All sales reports must be submitted every week.
    • Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with Team Lead and other DSE’s.
    • Must be polite at all times to customers and report any customer feedback during weekly meetings.
    • Must be willing to work at least 3 weekends every month.
    • Must be present at all sales training and weekly meetings.
    • Must abide by the ipNX policies and standards when on ipNX premises and in dealing with customers.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • HND Engineering / Computer Science / Marketing / Sales / related disciplines
    • At least 2years’ experience within the telecoms or FMCG space; knowledge of retail market, competitor behavior and strategy, including related product dynamics and product management.
    • Understanding of communications Network, Experience in a b2b, B2C sales environment; field sales, consistent track record of success in achieving product effectiveness and customer experience targets.
    • Demonstrate a high level of analytical thinking, gather and analyze information and provide viable insight about market trends and customer behavior.
    • Demonstrate a high level of organization and quality with multitasks, efficiency & priority setting.
    • Must demonstrate interpersonal capabilities and leadership.
    • Exemplary communication skills – both face to face and over the telephone. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and favorably project ipNX products & services

    First Level Technical Support Officer

    Job Summary:

    • Provide first level off-site technical support for all ipNX services: Internet service, Voice, Connected Home and Office etc. To consistently provide a high level of excellent customer service and support, ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage Service request life-cycle: receive, log and take ownership of all technical Service Requests and progress to resolution.
    • Receive, log and take ownership of all faults. Respond to and provide timely, complete and accurate resolution to customer inquiries via phone calls.
    • Monitor and escalate based on SLAs, coordinate with other teams as may be necessary to resolve customer issues within the contracted SLAs.
    • Proactively monitor all ipNX owned & installed network elements in customers’ premises.
    • Ensure initial call assessment, resolution (if possible) or escalate to the appropriate technical group.
    • Identify, document and alert supervisor of trends in customer calls.
    • Ensure daily updates of all complaints not closed (open tickets) by following up with person(s), units and organizations responsible.
    • Liaise with clients on updates of progress on Service Requests and Incidents reports ensuring they are kept up to date. Dissemination of information regarding network faulty condition, causes, planned outage period for repair/preventive maintenance.
    • Produce periodic error-free service reports in order to inform both management and external clients of service levels achieved and areas of service improvement required.
    • Prepare daily incidence summary reports.
    • Generate outage, fault and utilization reports as well as cause analysis/ reason for outage reports.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • B.Sc/B.Eng Computer Science/Computer Engineering /Electrical-Electronics engineering (2.1/Upper Credit at minimum).
    • CCNA , CCNP (Desired).
    • Strong telecommunications, IP design skills, & in-depth knowledge of IP Network.
    • Excellent business communication skills both verbal and written.
    • A hands-on experience with the following is a must: IP Routing, Mesh Network, VPN, Access Point.
    • Knowledge and experience with network security is desirable.
    • Candidate must possess excellent customer interface, analytical and presentation skills and be able to influence internal and external organizations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and monitor the organization's Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian HSE regulations and international best practices.
    • Conduct periodic compliance reviews and recommend corrective actions.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and support compliance audits and inspections.
    • Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
    • Identify hazards and implement mitigation measures.
    • Develop and monitor risk registers and corrective action plans.

    Telecommunications Deployment Project Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • The Telecommunications Deployment Project Supervisor will be directly responsible for and actively involved in project execution planning, monitoring and control, stakeholders engagement and risk averting, in an effective manner that ensures projects are delivered to time, quality and scope.
    • The role will typically involve everyday visits to project sites to ensure project objectives are not compromised and where necessary, guide the contractor to solve complex installation problems.
    • The Telecommunications Deployment Project Supervisor is also responsible for final integration & commissioning of service terminals (GPON or P2P) within acceptable loss levels and submitting test reports required for service fulfillment and maintenance operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Acknowledge and take ownership of projects once it is assigned to you by your team lead.
    • Complete project design pack study and review, 24hrs after assignment. Note: Project design pack includes the BOM, HLPD and design drawing.
    • Have a clear & integrated knowledge of project objectives, assumptions and risks. Ensure the contractor has this same understanding to avert scope creeps.
    • Hold kick-off meeting with Estate/Facility Manager in conjunction with project contractor within 72hrs of project assignment.
    • Ensure project work plan is shared within 72hrs of project assignment. Work plan must comply with work method & delivery timeline for P2P, BB Extension and Major/super projects.
    • Hold kick-off meetings with project design pack, work plan and notification letters.
    • Distribute notification letters to residents of project location/Streets, 48hrs before civil works commences.
    • Ensure availability of project materials, cabinet resource & PTW (permit-to-work) approval, way ahead of time. Where they are not available, escalate and track till resolution.
    • Provide daily project work plan and activity reports to team lead/data analyst, every day, throughout the duration of the project.
    • Provide prompt updates on issues/challenges that may impact project delivery dates.
    • Sign out and move materials to the project site, in a timely manner.
    • Review quality of materials supplied to site by contractor (e.g. PVC, HDPE, GI pipes, iron rods, e.t.c) and ensure they meet ipNX standards. Reject sub-standard materials and escalate back to your Team Lead.
    • Enforce compliance with work methods and other deployment guidelines within Estates & MTUs.
    • Actively monitor civil works (trenching/ducting, hand-holes construction, pole planting, cabinet installation).
    • Actively supervise cable pulling/MST box installation, splicing and termination.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in line with SHE standards, e.g. working at heights, working around power lines, working in greenfield environments, working around underground utilities, working at night, e.t.c.
    • Ensure all projects are concluded within SLA time.
    • Ensure quality/scope is met for all projects.
    • Provide daily/regular activity reports to Estate/Facility Manager in a timely manner and manage issues proactively.
    • Maintain a healthy relationship with Estate/Facility Manager, residents/customers and other key stakeholders.
    • Ensure a healthy relationship between project team & key stakeholders (e.g. EM/FM, residents, customers, property owners, area boys, e.t.c.)
    • Validate, submit & track variations until approval.
    • Validate and track milestone payments until approval.
    • Ensure project snags are cleared before hand-over/audit.
    • Submit kick-off meeting reports, milestone reports,
    • Submit MST or P2P splice report sheets, OTDR trace test and hand-over reports.
    • All reports must be submitted 24hrs after activity/task completion.
    • Attend all project meetings – weekly review meetings, on-site kick-off meetings, divisional meetings, customer triggered meetings, emergency meetings.
    • Actively participate & lead project hand-over/audit exercise.
    • Proactively engage stakeholders to mitigate escalations that may stall/delay project speed.
    • Provide support to other team members or units where necessary, or as instructed by your team lead or unit head.

    Requirement/Qualifications

    • University Degree in Telecoms, Engineering or Applied Sciences.
    • Certifications in Fibre Optic Cabling, CFOT or FOA will be an added advantage.
    • Certifications in HSE Grade III will be an added advantage.
    • Proficient use of fiber test tools e.g. OTDR, power meter & Light source, VFL.
    • Proficient use of design software e.g. AutoCAD, Visio/GIS tools e.t.c.
    • Proficient use of basic data analytics software, e.g. Excel, Word, Google live sheets.
    • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral).
    • Sound knowledge of fiber network architectures, designs & splice plans.
    • Over 2 years of proven track record in the supervision of fiber infrastructure projects in Estates (MDU/MTUs), High Streets (Metro) and Highways (long distance).
    • FTTH and P2P fiber maintenance experience is a distinct advantage i.e. fiber termination using fusion splice machines, testing & analyzing fiber links with OTDR and Light Source/Power Meters (LSPM), identifying fiber cores with VFLs, and understanding loss budgets.
