    Internal Auditor

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor, observe, and supervise the correctness of quantities and inspection of goods according to given specifications for all incoming and outgoing materials and products.
    • Maintain accurate records of material and product inspections.
    • Report findings to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Auditing Raw Material and Finished Goods Stores:
    • Conduct random audits of quantities in raw material stores and finished goods stores.
    • Inform top management of audit results.
    • Perform random and surprise checks of cash balances at the cashier's office.
    • Report any discrepancies to top management.
    • Conduct random and surprise audits of stocks at different depots across various regions.
    • Cross-check physical quantities with book records for accuracy.
    • Report findings to management.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related discipline
    • Additional qualifications related to auditing are advantageous.
    • 3 to 4 years of experience working as an internal auditor, with responsibilities aligned with the job description provided.

    • Our client is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor with a strong background in steel/metal manufacturing to oversee the production operations.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of safety and productivity within the team.

    Responsibilities 

    • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day manufacturing operations within the steel/metal production plant.
    • Manage and lead a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
    • Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    • 2-3 years of experience in a steel/metal manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Must be comfortable working on a shift basis.
    • In-depth knowledge of steel/metal production processes and equipment.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
    • Proficiency in implementing and enforcing safety protocols and quality control measures.
    • Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
    • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Senior Sales and Marketing Manager

    Summary

    • The Senior Sales & Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving business development activities, overseeing marketing strategies, and managing sales operations.
    • The incumbent will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing sales plans, managing staff, and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry events, publications, and announcements, and tracking individual contributors' accomplishments.
    • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners and exploring opportunities.
    • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials, and evaluating options.
    • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
    • Ensure deliverables fit into overall strategic plans.
    • Monitor the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports.
    • Lead the technical sales team by creating ongoing activities that promote the company and its products/services.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
    • Minimum of 7 years' cognate experience (preferably in the Fire business), with a wide network of contacts throughout the West African region
    • MBA is an added advantage
    • Must be 37 years and above
    • Successful track record in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
    • Strong, decisive, results-oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company
    • Commercial attitude, existing network/knowledge of consultants, specifiers, construction companies, architects, and end-users is an asset
    • Able to learn and understand products technically and support customers in technical questions
    • Product knowledge in Fire systems, HSE products, Access, CCTV, and Intrusion is a plus
    • Willingness to travel frequently
