    Hub Manager - Ijebu Water Side

    About the job

    • The Hub Manager is the second layer of the front-line team directly managing the launch of new Hubs/Shops and supporting growth toward Hub profitability. A Hub Manager has an entrepreneurial mindset that drives new ideas to have a successful new Hub launch and enforces brilliant basics on Hub Operational Standards
    • A Hub Manager has to demonstrate leadership capabilities by supporting Jaza stars on best practices that help towards hub growth. A Hub Manager has to have the ability to recruit, train and coach other Jaza stars in his/her cohort. They will be responsible for managing Hub's growth which is increasing the number of active customers per respective Hub, Hub profitability and Jaza stars coaching at her respective cohort.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Support Hub growth through customer acquisition initiatives to have an average of 130 active customers L7. Conduct door-to-door sales with Jaza stars at your respective cohort to grow the number of active customers towards 130 L7.
    • Managing customer retention by proactively following up with churned customers and support revenue growth at the Hub level through the implementation of membership renewal and changing customers' adaptation from pay-per-swap to memberships to have an average of 1M monthly recurring revenue and >$2.8 ARPU
    • Own Hub profitability and support Jaza stars on best practices to grow the Hub revenue remittance balancing
    • 100% compliance with lost and missing packs metrics
    • Coaching Jaza stars best practices that work to have a profitable Hub on Sales (Sharpening sales pitch - removing customers blocks, closing sales & customer registration/signup)
    • Coaching Jaza stars on Customer service - (Proper customer and product education, Proper language and tone to use, answering questions, and resolving/ reporting complaints on time and leading by example on the Jaza behaviours and compliance with the SOPs.
    • Coaching Jaza stars on inventory management (Following packs scanning schedule, following up on missing packs at customers, following Pack in Pack out process, packs rotation, reporting defective packs at the hub and identifying tempered packs).
    • Flag any dilemma which limits Hub growth/ reliable service to the Regional Coordinator.
    • Own Jaza stars recruitment process from advertisement, interviews and Jaza stars training.
    • Attend Hyper care meetings, providing clear action plans toward hubs growth, sharing the progress feedback and flag dilemmas.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree or its equivalent in sales, Administration, Marketing or any other related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales, Customer Relations, Entrepreneurship or other related fields.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading, managing or training a team previously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.

    Star Development Coordinator

    About the job

    • The Star Development Coordinator is responsible for acquiring competent Jaza Stars (Sales agents) for the new sites. The SDC owns the entire process of recruitment, training and onboarding of new Jaza Stars for new sites identified in the expansion pipeline and ensures that the Jaza Stars recruited are competent and have the appropriate training to manage the hubs and accomplish company set goals.

    Accountability

    • Manage the recruitment process (advertising, interviewing and hiring) of great Jaza Stars whose goals and ambitions align with the goals of the company in the new sites it expands to.
    • Own the process of training and evaluation of the selected Jaza Stars and ensure that the training materials are kept up to date. Ensuring that all onboarding procedures for recruited Jaza Stars are followed and all necessary documentations are filed accordingly.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that open Jaza Star positions for new sites in Expansion are advertised extensively.
    • Monitoring the number of interested candidates during Jaza Stars recruitment and ensuring that it meets the set criteria for interviews and training to be conducted
    • Making sure that all necessary arrangements for interviewing and training process are made for each site in the expansion process
    • Conducting interviews, classroom training and on-site training for possible Jaza Star recruits
    • Identifying possible areas of concentration for training for the Jaza Star recruits and recommend inputs to the training materials
    • Ensuring that classroom and on-site training materials are kept up to date by flagging any additions or changes to be made by the QA Expansion Operations.
    • Ensuring that all onboarding action items for new recruits are followed and all necessary documentation is filled appropriately. This includes:
    • Ensure that the Jaza Stars are registered on the Dashboard and set their accounts on the Star App
    • Prepare and have them sign their contracts and upload them to the drive.
    • Upload the Jaza Star registry with the new recruits details.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in any related field.
    • Previous experience in roles where rural talent acquisition was done.
    • Ability to tap into local networks, leveraging community connections, and local job boards to find candidates.
    • Ability to position the company as an attractive local employer.
    • Ability to develop tailored recruitment strategies to attract candidates.
    • Experience in conducting in-person interviews.
    • Ability to assess candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit within the community-oriented nature of rural work environments.
    • Ability to manage the full recruitment cycle in a rural environment where resources may be more limited.
    • Effective planning and prioritization to ensure timely and efficient hiring processes, even with fewer candidates.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to handle challenges like long hiring timelines, and/or limited local candidate pools.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish trust within a close-knit community.
    • Familiarity with local languages or dialects can be a huge asset, especially in remote/rural areas.

    Field Service Engineer (Solar Energy)-Abia

    Position Overview

    • To support this rapid expansion, we're seeking highly skilled Field Service Engineers (FSE) who excel in powering and sustaining energy uptime. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in managing technical operations and swiftly resolving issues at the regional level. As an FSE, your focus will be on maintaining robust technical systems to guarantee uninterrupted power at sites and optimal energy uptime at our hubs.
    • This role requires significant travel within Nigeria, as Jaza is expanding its operations.
    • This role involves owning and managing energy uptime, optimizing system performance, troubleshooting and repairing technical issues, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis, reporting, and collaboration. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong technical/engineering background, capable of multitasking, taking initiative and working in a fast-paced environment.

    Role And Responsibilities

    • Ensure energy uptime and power availability at sites by monitoring the system and quickly diagnosing and solving technical issues.
    • Support the setup of new hubs, ensure connectivity, and perform routine hub energy system maintenance. You will either travel to the hubs or remotely troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Overseeing the installation and configuration of solar panels, electrical wiring, and associated equipment.
    • Collaborate with Jaza Stars and the data team to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.
    • Document field activities and keep accurate Hub Equipment and product component inventory records.
    • Regularly prepare reports on hub health and other technical issues, to be submitted to the Regional Service Engineer.

    Qualifications
