    HR Administrative Associate - Jumia

    Job Objective:
    As Administrative Associate you will ensure that administrative operations at our organization runs efficiently. In this position, you will issue payments and keep track of a budget, manage events, and assist with managerial administrative duties. To succeed on this role, you will demonstrate great office administration and exhibit advanced organizational skills. You would also be an excellent planner who demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the HR team in organizing staff during events and programs such as Onboard, train, TGIF and assist organizers in how to use our administrative systems.
    • ​Develop and coordinate departmental events calendars such as Setting up department meetings, maintaining list-serves, and other internal communications systems.
    • ​Material creation, documentation and record keeping of materials used for organizing HR events such as budgets, event planning materials and communication materials.
    • ​Scheduling and event planning. Event planning and logistics, prepares briefing materials and other meeting preparation.
    • ​Tracks departmental budget expenses, support departmental staff in following guidelines to use organizational resources responsibly.

    Requirements and Qualification:

    • 2+ years of experience in a similar administrative role.
    • ​Extensive experience in managing budgets, and expenditure.
    • ​Exceptional ability to manage office operations.
    • ​Advanced ability to plan, schedule, and execute office-related events.
    • ​In-depth knowledge of administrative recordkeeping practices.
    • ​Ability in handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • ​Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • ​An Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or similar.

    3PL Invoice Coordinator - Jumia

    Department: Services - Logistics

    Job Objective

    • As 3PL Invoice coordinator, you will manage account invoicing and reconciliation for multiple partners across NG.
    • Ensuring timely payments and maintaining an excellent and transparent reconciliation process.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for monthly payment Reconciliation to 3PL Partners (ODS,VDO, LMH, and Non-Integrated Partners) - To ensure all invoices are archived and uploaded for payment within Timeline.
    • Responsible for weekly Loss Reconciliation (To ensure Reports are shared with RMs every week, Follow up and reconcile all deductions with QMT before the Billing Cycle commences)
    • Responsible for ODS monthly Non-Compliance Reports
    • Responsible for Monthly 3PL cost Analysis (To ensure 3PL cost analysis is done for the month and updated on the central tracker)
    • Responsible for Monthly Accrual Computation (LMH, ODS, Non-Integrated)
    • Responsible for all bill issue resolutions
    • To liaise with the AP team on all pending remittances, debt/loan recovery issues
    • Responsible for collating new partner details for Opex approval and vendor number creation
    • Responsible for EXC Revenue Management Process
    • Responsible for EXC Cash Recovery Process
    • Ensuring partners are compliant with Company's SLAs and Processes.
    • To Perform other duties as assigned

    Competencies Required / Skills

    • Proficient in the use of Excel and other Microsoft programmes
    • Great analytical skills

    • Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
    • Ability to work extra hours when the need arises (Weekends and Holidays)
