We’re seeking an HR/Admin Officer to support the full scope of Human Resources and Administrative functions within a factory environment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient HR operations, regulatory compliance, employee relations, expatriate documentation, and day-to-day administrative support while promoting a productive and compliant workplace.
Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for technical, factory, and administrative positions.
Facilitate employee onboarding, induction, probation, and confirmation processes.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and other HR correspondence.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in both physical and electronic formats.
Manage leave administration, attendance records, and timekeeping systems.
Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
Assist with performance management, employee appraisals, training, and development programmes.
Maintain training records and monitor compliance with mandatory training schedules.
Promote positive employee relations and assist in resolving grievances and disciplinary matters.
Coordinate employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Manage expatriate documentation and ensure compliance with Nigerian immigration regulations.
Coordinate the processing and renewal of expatriate quotas, CERPAC, business permits, visas, and other immigration documents.
Liaise with relevant government agencies on expatriate matters.
Maintain expatriate records and monitor document expiration dates.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, factory regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Support regulatory inspections and maintain HR compliance documentation.
Coordinate office and factory administrative operations.
