Job Description

• The Gardening Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of Gardening Services. Duties include job scheduling, task allocation and quality assurance. 
• The assurance of supervision and provision of individualized support to maximize the outcomes for, and development of, supported employees is integral to a Garden supervisor. 
• The Supervisor plans, directs, coordinates, and controls activities of workers engaged in gardening work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise work and maintenance programs ensuring programmed maintenance and horticultural activities.
• Development of Lawns / Greenery / Landscaping, Planning / Execution etc. in all the locations/units.
• To supervise the implementation of Landscape Ornamental plants and Garden maintenance
• Plant Nursery Management & Propagation techniques in Horticulture & Landscaping and its structures.
  • Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of scheduled jobs considering:
    Required out come per crew.
    Crew availability, productivity and supervision
    Plant required job frequency.
    Location and travel times to jobs
    Minimizing non-productive (down) time.
• On site coordination, developing, and directing units as they work
• Supervise staff and supported employees at all times, especially while working alongside
• Allocate tasks according to individual abilities and production requirements
• Ensure that employees receive adequate job rotation
• Should be Conversant with MS office, Word, Excel, Auto cad.

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Horticulturist, Botany, Plant Science or a related field
• Years of Experience: 2 - 4 years.
• Excellent planning skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management skills
• Ability to work in a team and use your initiative
• Flexibility and a willingness to work in a busy and varied environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.
• Candidate living in close proximity, preferably Abuja, Kaduna, Niger State.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, calibrating, and operating CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills, routers).
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and G-code.
• Programming and modifying CNC machine settings as needed.
• Ensuring product quality through regular inspections and precision measurement tools.
• Maintaining tools and machines and adhering to safety protocols.

Skills:

• Experience: 2-6 years
• CTC: As per Resume
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines and tools.
