Job Summary:

• We're looking for an experienced professional to lead our internal control and audit team in a microfinance institution. The ideal candidate will oversee daily transaction reviews, conduct customer verification checks, and investigate discrepancies to ensure our assets are safeguarded and regulatory standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bank transaction reviews and auditing
• Conduct customer verification checks and staff checks
• Investigate discrepancies, cash suppression, or potential fraud cases
• Implement and maintain internal control checks
• Ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit reports on control activities and audit findings
• Supervise and mentor the internal control and audit team
• Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA/ICAN or other related certification is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal control and audit, preferably in a microfinance institution or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office applications

Job Summary

• The Deposit Mobilization Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the bank’s deposit portfolio by sourcing new customers, marketing deposit products, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role is target-driven and focused on mobilizing deposits from individuals, SMEs, and corporate organizations in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggressively mobilize deposits (savings, current, fixed/investment deposits) to meet assigned targets.
• Market the bank’s investment and liability products to new and existing customers.
• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across retail, SME, and corporate segments.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance loyalty and retention.
• Provide advisory to customers on available deposit and investment products to suit their financial needs.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly deposit targets as assigned by management.
• Prepare and submit marketing reports on deposit mobilization activities.
• Monitor competitors’ deposit rates and marketing strategies, and provide feedback to management.
• Cross-sell other bank products and services to deposit customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• HND / B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in deposit mobilization, marketing, or sales in commercial, microfinance bank or fintech
• Proven ability to meet and exceed set deposit targets.
