Salary Range: 250,000-300,000(depending on experience).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Team Lead will oversee the financial operations of the publishing company, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with statutory regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to management. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership competence, and extensive experience in accounting operations within a structured business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Manage the company's accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience.
• Experience in publishing, manufacturing, or FMCG sector is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
