    Head, Business Development (Power & Engineering)

    Summary

    • As we expand, we are looking for experienced professionals to strengthen our technical, training and business teams.

    What You Will Do

    • Set and execute BD strategy across both the power training and engineering consulting divisions
    • Identify, pursue and close new business with utilities, industrial clients and government agencies
    • Build and manage a strong pipeline of tenders, bids and proposals
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client engagements
    • Partner with technical teams to shape winning proposals and pricing.

    What You Bring

    • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field; MBA an advantage
    • Minimum of 10 years' business development/sales experience in power, engineering or related industries
    • Demonstrated record of winning contracts in the power/engineering space
    • Strong existing network across Nigeria's power and industrial sectors
    • Excellent negotiation and proposal-writing skills.

    Head, Power Training & Consulting

    What You'll Own

    • Provide strategic and business leadership for the firm's power sector practice, spanning training programmes and engineering consulting engagements
    • Own full P&L responsibility for the power practice, including budgeting, cost control and profit management
    • Lead business development from the front — personally driving new client acquisition, key account relationships and strategic partnerships alongside the BD team
    • Set strategic direction and quality standards for technical training curricula and courses covering generation, transmission and distribution
    • Own relationships with DISCOs, GENCOs, TCN, IPPs and regulatory bodies (NERC) at executive level
    • Drive performance management across the power practice — setting KPIs, monitoring delivery and building team capability
    • Build, mentor and manage the power engineering and training leadership team

    Requirements

    • B.Eng / B.Sc in Electrical/Power Engineering; MBA/M.Sc strongly preferred
    • COREN registration required
    • Deep working knowledge of NERC regulations and grid codes
    • Minimum 15 years' cognate experience in the power sector (generation, transmission, distribution)
    • Proven track record in strategic and business management, including P&L, budget and profit management
    • Demonstrated success leading business development and winning new business at executive level
    • Strong background in performance management and building high-performing team.

    Technical Sales Engineer

    What you will own

    • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for engineering/power products and solutions
    • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients
    • Prepare technical proposals, quotations and tender documents
    • Build and sustain strong client relationships
    • Deliver against sales targets and market expansion goals.

    What you bring

    • B.Eng / HND in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering disciplines
    • 3–5 years' technical sales experience in engineering, power or industrial sectors
    • Strong technical grounding paired with sharp sales instincts
    • Confident communicator, target-driven and client-focused.
