    General Business Manager - Club Operations

    Job Summary

    • A leading hospitality and nightlife organisation in Lagos is seeking an experienced, strategic and commercially driven General Business Manager to oversee its business and club operations.
    • The ideal candidate must be a creative problem-solver, strong system builder and disciplined execution leader capable of transforming business strategy into measurable operational and financial results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership across the organisation’s club and hospitality operations.
    • Develop and implement effective business systems, policies, SOPs and control structures.
    • Drive revenue growth, profitability, customer retention and market positioning.
    • Oversee daily operations, service delivery, sales, marketing, finance, security and facilities.
    • Develop creative concepts, events and customer-experience initiatives.
    • Prepare and manage budgets, revenue targets and cost-control measures.
    • Establish departmental KPIs and hold managers accountable for results.
    • Identify operational weaknesses and implement sustainable corrective measures.
    • Build systems that reduce dependence on individuals and improve business continuity.
    • Analyse operational, sales, customer and financial data to guide management decisions.
    • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Submit comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports to executive management.
    • Build a culture of discipline, innovation, accountability and excellent service.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management or a related field.
    • Minimum of seven years’ business or operations management experience.
    • Significant experience in club operations, entertainment, nightlife or hospitality management.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple departments and senior team members.
    • Strong understanding of nightlife operations, revenue management, events and customer experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to build SOPs, reporting systems, controls and accountability structures.
    • Strong commercial awareness, financial management and strategic-thinking capability.
    • Creative approach to revenue generation, brand development and customer engagement.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of integrity, emotional intelligence and professional judgement.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends and public holidays when required.

    Inventory Officer

    About This Position

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and accountable Inventory Officer to manage stock movements, maintain accurate inventory records, prevent shortages and losses, and ensure that all materials and products are properly received, stored, issued, and documented.
    • The successful candidate will work closely with the Procurement, Production, Sales, Logistics, and Accounts teams to ensure effective stock control and timely availability of inventory.

     Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, count, and document all incoming stock.
    • Verify supplied items against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred, returned, damaged, or expired.
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.
    • Reconcile physical stock with inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
    • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and promptly report replenishment needs.
    • Ensure proper storage, labelling, arrangement, and rotation of stock using FIFO and FEFO methods.
    • Track finished products, raw materials, packaging materials, equipment, and consumables.
    • Prevent stock loss, theft, damage, overstocking, and expiration.
    • Prepare daily stock movement, variance, wastage, and inventory balance reports.
    • Ensure that no item leaves the store without proper authorization and documentation.
    • Maintain stock cards, bin cards, goods received notes, issue notes, transfer notes, and return records.
    • Support internal and external inventory audits.
    • Report damaged, obsolete, slow-moving, and expired items to management.
    • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store.

     Requirements

    • OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in inventory, warehouse, storekeeping, or stock-control operations.
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory-management software.
    • Good understanding of stock reconciliation, FIFO, FEFO, and inventory-control procedures.
    • High level of honesty, accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in food production, FMCG, hospitality, retail, or manufacturing will be an advantage.
