    Fullstack Engineer,Product & Engineering

    Role Overview

    • The Fullstack Engineer will join the Product & Engineering team to design and build internal and client-facing platforms. This role requires strong product ownership, rapid execution, and the ability to deliver features end-to-end.
    • Engineers at Hugo are expected to be AI-native builders who understand business context and actively shape product direction.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Build full-stack applications supporting CX and operations
    • Own features from concept to deployment
    • Develop backend services using Node.js and Express
    • Build modern frontend interfaces using React
    • Design APIs and system integrations
    • Collaborate with product on solution design
    • Integrate with CRM, helpdesk, and workforce platforms
    • Implement analytics dashboards and reporting tools
    • Optimize application performance and scalability
    • Rapidly prototype new ideas and internal tools.

    Key Responsibilities

    Solutions Architect - CX

    What You`ll Be Doing

    • The Solutions Architect will design and prototype technical solutions that improve CX delivery, reduce cost, and enable new revenue streams at Hugo.
    • This role is responsible for translating business and operational needs into scalable, reliable, and commercially viable technical systems.
    • This person will act as a bridge between operations, product, engineering, and clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design high-level system architectures for CX and AI-enabled solutions.
    • Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to validate feasibility and business value.
    • Lead technical solution design for new products and client pilots.
    • Define system integrations across CRM, help desk, chat, workforce, and analytics platforms.
    • Work with internal and external engineering teams to guide implementation.
    • Make build vs buy vs partner recommendations based on cost, speed, and scalability.
    • Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and solution specs.
    • Support pre-sales and client conversations with technical input where needed.
    • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-aware.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • 5 - 10 years of experience in engineering, solutions architecture, or technical product roles.
    • Hands-on experience with at least one backend and one frontend language.
    • Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data architecture.
    • Practical experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and performance considerations.
    • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

    • This role will establish scalable testing practices and support fast release cycles.
    • This individual must be AI-native, automation-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Define test strategy for product features
    • Build automated testing frameworks
    • Validate integrations across systems
    • Support rapid release cycles
    • Ensure end-to-end feature quality
    • Partner with engineers on quality standards
    • Implement CI-based test automation

    • The DevOps Engineer will join the Product & Engineering team to design, secure, and scale Hugo’s infrastructure powering internal platforms, CX solutions, and AI-enabled tools.
    • This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring strong ownership, security mindset, and the ability to optimize systems across multiple teams.
    • This individual will act as a thought leader in infrastructure, automation, and platform reliability while enabling rapid product delivery.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Own cloud infrastructure across multiple engineering teams
    • Design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platform architecture
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployments
    • Manage access control and identity across engineering systems
    • Secure infrastructure using best-practice security frameworks
    • Optimize existing systems for performance and cost efficiency
