    Head of Sales, Power Distribution Solutions

    Details:

    A reputable engineering company with headquarters in Lagos and factory in Ondo State seeks a suitable qualified candidate to fill the position of Head of Sales, Power Distribution Solutions.  The role is based in Lagos State but some travel will be necessary.

    Roles & Responsibilities: 

    • Ensure that the business unit meets goals that contribute to the overall success of the company
    • Sales of power distribution solutions, analyzing market trends, training and mentoring of staff, creating and implementing strategies to reach targets and so on.
    • Consistently deliver on revenue targets and so grow a business unit.
    • Drive revenue, growth and market share.
    • Meet or exceed defined revenue targets.
    • Meet or exceed KPIs.
    • Develop and execute against an agreed business unit strategy.
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
    • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Expect moderate travel.

    Requirements

    • A degree in Electrical Engineering
    • 8 years of proven relevant experience in the sales of Electrical solutions.
    • Strong FEED skills.
    • Certification of AutoCAD training from a recognized trade center/institution preferred.
    • Excellent Knowledge of MS office.
    • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong business sense and problem-solving attitude.
    • Excellent selling, negotiation and presentation skills.
    • Strong leadership skills motivating a team to achieve results.
    • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven record in sales.
    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
    • Disciplined hard worker.
    • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales target.
    • Track record of leading and growing a business unit.
    • Age: Between 32-49 years old.
    • B.sc/BA/HND degree in Electrical Engineering compulsory.
    • Extensive customer network.
    • Sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Experience building new territories from scratch – preferred but not compulsory

    Sales Engineer

    A reputable engineering company with headquarters in Lagos and factory in Ondo State seeks a suitable qualified candidate to fill the position of Electrical Sales Engineer - Based in Port Harcourt.

    The ideal candidate will have experience selling expensive, feature-rich equipment to medium and large scale businesses in different sectors. Highly preferable is a candidate with sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He/she must be business savvy and have the sales expertise to help establish the company’s products in the relevant sectors. While a degree in Electrical Engineering is not compulsory, it is preferred because of the nature of the products to be sold. The position requires superior relationship-based sales skills in addition to strong communication, organization, and demonstration skills.

    As an Electrical Sales Engineer you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of some emerging technology in Nigeria. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, result driven and should also be a self-starter who consistently delivers on revenue targets.
