    Legal Counsel

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    About the Role

    • The Legal Counsel is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities which includes giving accurate and timely counsel to the management in a variety of legal matters, collaborating with the management to devise efficient defense strategies and specifying internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance.
    • We are looking to engage an energetic and highly qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and gives legal advice to management about all relevant issues. The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal conformity and minimize probability of exposure.
    • The position is highly visible and requires someone with a high degree of maturity (not maturity by age).

    Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
    Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Give accurate and timely counsel to management in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
    • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
    • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
    • Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
    • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
    • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
    • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
    • Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
    • Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
    • Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
    • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation

    Job Qualifications and Requirements

    • B.Sc Degree in Law with 2-5 years work experience
    • MA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantage;
    • Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
    • Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
    • Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
    • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
    • Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Effective communicator with a positive outlook.

    Social Media and Community Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the social media presence of Digital Marketing Skill Institute; create engaging and interactive contents, respond to interactions.
    • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
    • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
    • Lead engagement and interactions within the learning support communities.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of our engagement and social media campaigns, to identify the next set of activities.
    • Support or co-create initiatives to foster discussion and knowledge-sharing for the learning support community.
    • Managing live chats and online comments.
    • Manage all community groups such as Telegram, whatsapp etc.

    Job Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's in Mass Communication, Public Relations, and other related Courses
    • 1 - 3 years experience in content writing, social media management, public relations, Graphic and video designs.
    • He/She must be a people’s person with great interpersonal and communication skills
    • He/She must be able to develop ‘WOW’ communication and marketing strategies.
    • He/She must be willing to support women development and empowerment in the digital space and beyond
    • He/She must have completed NYSC.

    Job Qualifications and Requirements

    • An ideal candidate will bring knowledge and application of immersive, experiential and action-based learning and instructional design theories, an authentic passion for developing people, commitment to positive customer experience.
    • 2 years and above hands-on experience in digital marketing
    • An expert and should have hands - on experience in Digital Marketing Strategy, Planning, Search Engine Optimisation, Content Marketing, Website Development, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search Advertising, Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and Analytics, Digital Marketing Career and Agency.
    • Ability to conduct training programs, workshops or delivering talks on Digital Marketing.
    • Excellent social and communication skills: you love building relationships with people and helping them develop themselves
    • Great empathy which helps you understanding people and their needs
    • Can-do attitude, a good sense of humor and an amazing energy!!!
    • Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
    • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
