    Field Superintendent

    Job Summary

    • The Field Superintendent is to oversee the operations, maintenance, and optimization of the flow station while ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and regulations.

    Main Responsibilities 

    • Monitor daily production and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary.
    • Report daily production/evacuation targets to the Line manager and all other stakeholders.
    • Manage delegation of production tasks to team leads and line reports and ensure proper staffing for all tasks.
    • Develop and implement strategies and training toward accomplishing organizational goals and values.
    • Coordinate and monitor the flow of production; can forecast work and notice potential problems in the workflow.
    • Lead the daily toolbox meeting and HSSE moments.
    • Supervise and monitor all maintenance and Operations activities in the Flow Station.
    • Conducting first-line reviews for all Flow-station (FS) personnel performance.
    • Ensuring all Process and utility equipment are functioning properly, and readily available for use.
    • Preparing annual budgets and work schedules.
    • Always maintaining quality service in both Operations and Maintenance-related activities.
    • Ensuring production plans are completed in time with Zero downtime.
    • Coordinate, Collaborate, and develop healthy working relations with other support & technical teams.
    • Identifying and troubleshooting Operations/production issues.
    • Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
    • Perform verification of production output according to specifications before distributing reports.
    • Lead by example: Set expectations for staff and monitor delegated activities

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, preferably Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering, or any related technical/operational discipline.
    • A minimum of 7 years of Supervisory experience in the said role in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
    • Extensive Project Management knowledge
    • Great People Skills
    • Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals for field workers.

    Structural Engineer

    Job Description

    • Follow-up Engineer’s activities related to structures design studies and ensure compliance with General specifications and with the requirements of the project documentation.
    • Liaise with contractor’s design staff as and when required to ensure efficient and timely resolution of all issues identified during engineering work.
    • Monitor construction, outfitting activities at the fabrication yard and during site installation and construction, hook-up, and commissioning.
    • Liaise with other Company staff at site and at other locations for coordination of interface design and other activities.
    • Manage technical evaluation of the bids and prepare technical recommendation with Engineering Manager.
    • Follow-up procurement, construction, expediting, and assist in pre-commissioning for discipline related activities.
    • Review and comment on CONTRACTOR documents within the project review cycle.
    • Anticipate problems in his/her discipline, proffer solutions or escalate to Company’s Engineering Manager when necessary.
    • Highlight and report any deficiencies or changes to the Contractual scope of the basis of design. Management is to be immediately informed regarding any deviation, risk or concerns related on HSE, technical, planning or cost issues.
    • Review and analyse planning updates including critical path for discipline related activities, review and
    • approve progress for discipline related activities, and coordinate with COMPANY Engineering Manager.
    • Ensure that CONTRACTOR resources and organization are adequate and competent for achieving the discipline engineering and procurement works.
    • Prepare responses to all technical requested from CONTRACTOR and Project with the aim to add value by minimizing costs without sacrificing safety or the level of quality. This includes offering solutions and escalation to the Engineering Manager.
    • Provide detailed assistance to COMPANY Engineering Manager on derogations, exemption, modification requests.
    • Undertake technical evaluation of Change Order Requests for the parts related to the discipline.
    • To participate in all audit activities (HSE, PTRs, HAZOPS…).
    • Ensure adequate workload sharing with discipline engineering and participate in inter discipline reviews. (e.g. QA/QC activities, precom/com, start-up, O&Ms…)
    • Participate and propose solution in interfaces resolution between Contractors.
    • Ensure close interface with Engineering and Construction contractor, participate, and propose solution through Engineering, Procurement Construction, Modification, and commissioning to ensure delivery of Project.
    • Mark-up drawings on site for purposes of preparing as built drawings.

    QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Structural Engineering) equivalent or more.
    • Professional Experience (number of years): 10 Experience in the design of offshore projects: (number of years): 10
