The Field Superintendent is to oversee the operations, maintenance, and optimization of the flow station while ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor daily production and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary.
Report daily production/evacuation targets to the Line manager and all other stakeholders.
Manage delegation of production tasks to team leads and line reports and ensure proper staffing for all tasks.
Develop and implement strategies and training toward accomplishing organizational goals and values.
Coordinate and monitor the flow of production; can forecast work and notice potential problems in the workflow.
Lead the daily toolbox meeting and HSSE moments.
Supervise and monitor all maintenance and Operations activities in the Flow Station.
Conducting first-line reviews for all Flow-station (FS) personnel performance.
Ensuring all Process and utility equipment are functioning properly, and readily available for use.
Preparing annual budgets and work schedules.
Always maintaining quality service in both Operations and Maintenance-related activities.
Ensuring production plans are completed in time with Zero downtime.
Coordinate, Collaborate, and develop healthy working relations with other support & technical teams.
Identifying and troubleshooting Operations/production issues.
Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
Perform verification of production output according to specifications before distributing reports.
Lead by example: Set expectations for staff and monitor delegated activities
Educational Qualifications & Experience
University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, preferably Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering, or any related technical/operational discipline.
A minimum of 7 years of Supervisory experience in the said role in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
Extensive Project Management knowledge
Great People Skills
Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals for field workers.
