    Real Estate Manager

    Our client, who is a Legal Practitioners & Property Consultants, is looking to hire a Real Estate Manager who will provide professional expertise in real estate management and manage the complete real estate portfolio of the firm, which entails periodic inspections follow up and preparation of reports. The ideal candidate will promote sales through advertising, marketing all real estate properties and providing other incidental support in the firm. The Real Estate Manager will be responsible for maximizing property performance, and effective property management strategies. Your primary goal is to maintain and enhance the value of real estate assets while delivering a positive experience for tenants and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain property rentals, conduct regular inspections, and prepare reports.
    • Perform comparative market analysis to estimate property value.
    • Maintain and update listing of available properties for sale, management and inspection.
    • Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure rent collection and timely payment of property-related bills.
    • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, safe, and comply with relevant regulations.
    • Select and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring quality services and cost-effective solutions.
    • Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, rental income, and other relevant metrics. Analyse data and provide recommendations for improvements.
    • Have local knowledge of the community and market conditions to answer questions about potential homes, similar properties and the surrounding neighbourhood.
    • Prepare draft, necessary paperwork to facilitate sale and lease of real estate (offer letter, leases, reports, KYC’s etc.)
    • Develop networks and cooperate with estate agents, affiliate marketers and digital marketers to drive sales.
    • Research and propose relevant trainings, seminars at least quarterly to ensure continuous development in respect of real estate markets and best practices.
    • Reach out to customers after completed sales to evaluate satisfaction and determine updated service requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in estate management, bachelor's degree in law or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 5-6 years of real estate experience with diversified portfolios.
    • In-depth knowledge and experience with construction and building processes and facility management.

    Must have skills

    • Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Technology driven.
    • High work standards and real estate management experience is required.
    • Must be committed to a process of continual improvement.

    IT Manager

    Our client, a Pan-African organization investing in the inclusion of Women, is looking to hire an IT Manager who is responsible for managing the organization's information technology operations, ensuring the provision of efficient and effective technical support services. This role involves strategic planning, directing, and coordinating the design, installation, and connectivity of systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of all IT assets. Additionally, the IT Manager will manage all the organization's website to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.

    Responsibilities

    The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following functions:

    IT Operations & Support

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring reliable operation of all IT systems, including network infrastructure, storage systems, hardware, software, and applications.
    • Ensure that IT systems are secure and compliant with data protection regulations and best practices.
    • Lead and manage IT projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements.
    • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure consistent and secure operations.
    • Manage employee onboarding and training on internal IT systems.
    • Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

    Technical Expertise & Website Management

    • Audit systems, assess the outcomes, and provide tailored recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance the organization’s technological capabilities.
    • Oversee the management and maintenance of the organization’s website to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
    • Coordinate with web developers and designers to implement website updates, improvements, and troubleshooting.
    • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve site functionality and user experience.
    • Ensure the website is compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    IT Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and implement IT strategies in line with the organization’s business objectives.
    • Assess and anticipate technology needs and align IT initiatives with business goals.
    • Oversee the annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness, as well as track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

    Vendor Management

    • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure that services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
    • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with third-party vendors to optimize cost and performance.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field and relevant certifications (such as PMP, ITIL, or Cisco) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
    • Experience with various operating systems, databases, and software applications.
    • Experience in website management, including content management systems (CMS), web analytics, and SEO best practices.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing IT operations and teams.

    Must have skills

    • Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational IT related troubleshooting.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Project management expertise, managing multiple tasks with a focus on quality and timely delivery.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough quality checks.
