    Technical Sales Engineer

    Job Description

    • The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for business development and sales of field and process instruments such as Level transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Flowmeters, Paperless Recorders, Thermostats, controllers, and Liquid analyser. They will manage customers in industries such as Automotive, Oil and Gas, Cement, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverages, Dairy and Ice cream industries, Chemical and Steel fabrication among others.

    Job Responsibilities;

    • Responsible for sales of products at given territory
    • Realisation of sales targets,
    • Direct commercial responsibility for entrusted region,
    • Searching for new clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing ones,
    • Conducting negotiations, commercial and technical advisory,
    • Preparation of commercial offers and application reports,
    • Reporting achieved results and conducted sales activities,

    Trainee Metrology Analyst

    Job Description

    • Assist in writing up the most important activities, work achievements, initiatives reports
    • Write and documentation records required by ISO/IEC 17025.
    • Write and edit reports, concept notes, official letters, and proposals in coordination with the concerned members /departments.
    • Identify important reports and documentation needed for the implemented activities.
    • Assist technical staff in writing, editing, and translating different materials.
    • Assist in laboratory reports including: quality records, problems, technical records and encourages the good quality work.
    • Advice the laboratory personnel in the management system related to documentation and reporting matters.
    • Assist the quality manager in their responsibilities.
    • Evaluate the laboratory personnel periodically and during the internal audits.
    • Maintain needed repots and records.
    • Ensure the software back-up copies are kept, as appropriate.
    • Performs the internal quality control tests to ensure compliance with calibration methods.
    • Prepare calibration certificates

    Job Description

    • The Technical Operations & Quality Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing all technical operations related to the calibration laboratory and ensuring that operations align with company objectives, regulatory standards, and customer expectations. This role will also require identifying, developing, and leading the implementation of new technical processes, tools, and systems to improve the company’s operations. The individual will play a strategic leadership role in driving efficiency, improving productivity, and ensuring high-quality standards across technical departments, while also managing a diverse team of technical professionals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Laboratory Operations: Lead the daily operations of the calibration laboratory, ensuring all calibration activities are carried out following established standards, quality assurance protocols, and customer requirements.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving laboratory processes, reducing downtime, optimizing workflows, and implementing new technologies or systems to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Compliance and Quality Management: Ensure the laboratory operations comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (such as ISO 17025). Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance and address any potential non-conformities.
    • Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the laboratory’s budget, manage operational costs, and ensure efficient use of resources. Work closely with senior management to forecast resource needs.
    • Technical Strategy and Innovation: Develop and implement technical strategies to meet business growth objectives, enhance customer service, and maintain a competitive edge in the calibration industry.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring that technical operations meet customer specifications and service-level agreements (SLAs).
    • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (such as Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations) to align technical initiatives with overall company goals and strategies.
    • Health & Safety: Ensure laboratory safety standards are adhered to, fostering a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management regarding the performance of technical operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs), challenges, and progress on improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in a technical or engineering role, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership position overseeing technical operations.
    • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (such as COREN, ISO 17025, Six Sigma, etc.) would be an advantage.

    Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer

    Job Description

    • The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of calibration activities within the laboratory.
    • This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of quality management systems, laboratory procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • The QA/QC Officer will be responsible for conducting quality control inspections, performing audits, implementing corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct quality control inspections and verifications of calibration activities to ensure compliance with established procedures, standards, and specifications.
    • Perform routine checks and tests on calibration equipment, materials, and instruments to verify accuracy, precision, and reliability.
    • Review calibration records, test data, and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Tetiary qualification in a relevant scientific or engineering field, such as chemistry, physics, engineering, or quality management. Additional certifications in quality assurance or quality control are a plus.
    • Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles within a laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated industry environment.
    • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations, such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with calibration procedures, measurement techniques, and metrology principles is desirable.
    • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret technical data and identify quality issues.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide training, and communicate quality-related information.
    • Proficiency in quality management software, document control systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
