    Lead, Technical Sales and Marketing

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
    • Describe features, technical specifications, and uses of Renewable Energy products or services to customers.
    • Provide support in renewable energy solution design and lead the development of project scopes, bills of materials, technical diagrams, and other supporting materials to ensure successful proposal submissions that lead to quality projects.
    • Handle sales of Renewable Energy Products & Services to prospects.
    • Conduct site visits to support site evaluation, suitability, and due diligence efforts while proffering solutions to clients.
    • Provide Pre-Sales & After-Sales support to customers who require additional help.

    Project Development Manager

    The key responsibility of this role is for you to manage the development of small to large, solar PV projects including mini-grid from initial site assessments and study, and designs, through to the planning and delivery, and commissioning as well as performing routine maintenance of the project.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with the business development and technical team to install PV inverters, commission new equipment, and enhance customer experience through quality service and professional conduct.
    • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market, competitive, and customer research supported by interaction with customers and non-customers to identify emerging trends, consumer demands, and technologies.
    • Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, and performance monitoring.
    • Perform simulation of solar PV, forecast system performance, and energy production to optimize efficiency.
    • Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.
    • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
    • Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
    • Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
    • Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
    • Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
    • Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
    • Develop proposals and make presentations when required
    • Influence Business strategic direction.
    • Perform any other duty that maybe assigned to you by your line manager from time to time.

    Business Development Manager

    This position will assist in the development of a consistent pipeline of new prospects from inception to closing, as well as maintain relationships. In addition to sales, the role will also encompass strategic marketing, presentation development, and proposal delivery. Aside from client interaction, the BDM will be responsible for site assessments/studies, procurement engagement, new project creation, and contract development.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify and prospect potential customers, generate leads, and convert prospects to business
    • Develop, present, and discuss proposals with customers
    • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
    • Describe features, technical specifications, and uses of Renewable Energy products or services to customers.
    • Provide support in renewable energy solution design and lead the development of project scopes, bills of materials, and other supporting materials to ensure successful proposal submissions that lead to quality projects.
    • Identify key stakeholders and networks relevant to priority pipeline opportunities for effective prepositioning, and assist the company in forming strategic partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and international organizations
    • Effectively communicate the organization’s value propositions, cultivate, and manage customer/partner relationships, and provide opportunities for cooperation, networking, and alliance building.
    • Ensure business development documentation and material are up to date and ready for sharing with potential customers and stakeholders.
    • In coordination with technical teams, develop evidence-based capability proposals and presentations suitable for winning grants and funding from international stakeholders
    • Handle sales of Renewable Energy Products & Services to prospects.
    • Engage in market intelligence, conduct market research, keep abreast with industry trends, identify renewable energy funding and grant opportunities
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge management system for tracking opportunities from capture to award including maintaining a repository of proposal development templates, pre-award tools, program concepts, capacity statements, proposal templates, pricing tables, etc
    • Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
