    Gender Based Violence Officer

    Responsibilities
    Program Support:

    • Oversee the implementation and quality of GBV prevention and response activities across all operational sites.
    • Develop and adapt Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and tools for GBV teams in line with Protection global standards and national protocols.
    • Collaborate with Program Manager and Supervisors to ensure the technical quality of GBV activities.
    • Facilitate the integration of GBV services into broader and holistic approach to service delivery.

    Capacity Building:

    • Development and delivery of training programs for staff, community stakeholders.
    • Provide continuous technical support and mentoring teams to strengthen their skills and knowledge.

    Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Analyze data and feedback from the field to identify gaps and areas for improvement in GBV service delivery.
    • Ensure regular reporting on the quality and impact of GBV interventions.

    Supervision and Reporting:

    • Conduct regular field visits to GBV activities, providing on-site guidance and feedback to local teams.
    • Conduct regular supervision and prepare detailed reports on GBV activities, challenges, and successes for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure the principle of ‘Do No Harm’ is observed and upheld in all the engagements
    • Produce monthly data and regular narrative reports of cases managed in collaboration with the senior staff (line manager) and the M&E officer.
    • Provide weekly case updates to the Program manager, including new cases identified, number of referrals, cases closed, and follow-ups.
    • Ensure the principle of safety and confidentiality of beneficiaries’ data is upheld.
    • Submit intake forms to M&E officer to ensure a proper database of cases and analysis of reported cases.
    • Participate in biweekly supervision meetings with GBV/PSS Officers
    • Maintain positive coordination and relationships with other partners at the field level
    • Supports training for GBV Caseworkers
    • Facilitate the setting up of an information desk at the women\'s and girls\' safe spaces where adolescents and women of reproductive age can access sexual reproductive health information.
    • Support GBV at-risk individuals or survivors by referring them when necessary 

    Requirements

    • Degree in relevant field (Social Work, Development Studies, Humanitarian Affairs, Gender Studies, or any other related disciplines).
    • 3 - 4 years of professional experience in humanitarian settings, including at least 3 years of directly working with survivors of GBV using a survivor-centered and multi-sectoral approach.
    • 2 - 3 years of experience working with health focus organization is an asset
    • Excellent knowledge of international standards and guidelines on GBV in humanitarian settings and ability to implement GBV response in accordance with the guidelines.
    • Demonstrated ability to assess, supervise, and coordinate technical work in GBV prevention and response in humanitarian and recovery settings.
    • Experience working in Bama and Konduga is highly desirable
    • Experience with capacity building of local partners and staffs.
    • Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Fluency in local language is an added advantage (written and spoken)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish effective working relations with staff and other stakeholders.

    • Only in identifying problems but also in suggesting and implementing solutions
    • Individual and group training skills in GBV
    • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and foster a team environment.

    • Strong coordination, networking skills, and the ability to constructively engage with a variety of stakeholders (INGOs, local partners, government officials, community leaders, etc.).
    • He/she works under the operational supervision of the Program manager
    • Must have experience with operationalizing GBV principles; Human Rights Law, Humanitarian principles and other relevant international standards in a humanitarian aid setting;
    • Well versed in Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS).
    • Disciplined, organized, respecting deadlines, adapting to a multicultural work environment, tolerance, and respecting REBHI’s core values.
    • Ability to enhance good interpersonal relationships.
    • Good knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

    Finance Officer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
    • Process accounts payable and receivable
    • Monitor bank transactions and reconcile bank statements
    • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
    • Assist in internal and external audits
    • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing of tax and statutory obligations
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
    • Contribute to financial risk management strategies

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or ACCA is an advantage)
    • Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Good organizational and time-management abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    MEAL Officer

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics Computer science, IT, or any other relevant equivalent Degree is required.
    • A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
    • Minimum of 3 years previous experience working with National and international NGOs.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability in the humanitarian context.
    • Experience in implementing donor funded projects is desirable.
    • The ability to develop Maps and info graphics is an added advantage.
    • Support in ensuring that community leaders and beneficiaries are actively participating in all project and M&E activities
    • Ensure utilization of projects by appropriate data collection and reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of data.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well with diverse teams and community stakeholders.
    • Basic knowledge of education systems and challenges in formal and non-formal settings.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and data collection techniques is an advantage.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
    • Participate in planning, and implementation activities on the project including surveys and rapid assessments, as well as in the monitoring and evaluation of the project activities.
    • In collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection, compilation, and timely reporting.
    • Ensure tracking of activities using the Indicator Tracking Table to ensure that indicators progress according to the logical framework.
    • Support the program team with feedback from community meetings.
    • Support the project team to conduct data quality Assessments.
    • Monitoring of all project activities progress towards achieving the project output and outcomes.
    • Reports monthly, quarterly, progress on all project activities to the program manager in line with indicators.
    • Contributes towards review, revision, and development of data collection tools, methodologies, and standardized reporting templates.

    Case Worker

    Responsibilities

    • Support and keep up-to-date service map to which vulnerable people can be referred in the facility and catchment area
    • identify, assess, document, refer (to relevant services) and follow-up at-risk vulnerable persons
    • Manage cases in acceptable timeframe according to the REBHI’S case Management SOPs.
    • Undertake visits to of GBV victims receiving case management services
    • Respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines/ standards
    • Ensure that case management information is managed according to REBHI approved procedures e.g., case management forms, registers and databases are used in an appropriate and correct manner and protected accordingly
    • Facilitate, collect and report information regarding the overall situation of protection risks in REBHI’s operational areas
    • Support the preparation of all procurement and administrative documents required for case management implementation.
    • Prepare and share with line manager monitoring reports/updates
    • Participate in Case conferences for the management of complex cases
    • Maintain highest standards of professional conduct and ensure actions do not put GBV Victims at risks

     Qualifications

    • Minimum Diploma in social sciences, social work or community development
    • Minimum of 1-year sectoral (GBV protection) experience in a similar position
    • Experience working and communicating with GBV Victims
    • Excellent technical understanding of protection and community-based approaches
    • Excellent understanding of the case management including FTR process
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks
    • Able to lead a team to achieve results
    • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
    • Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
    • Able to operate in extremely harsh living and working environment
    • GBV awareness and sensitivity
    • Awareness of using positive discipline; an officer should never humiliate GBV Victims
    • Knowledge of the area, socio-culture and local language where the post is located as an added advantage.
