    Driver

    Recruitment for Driver

    Generic responsibilities

    • Ensure adherence with PiHC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
    • Ensure proper implementation of fleet management process
    • Ensure smooth transportation and movement of PiHC staff and Items
    • Ensure Smooth day to day organizational movement
    • Promote and share ideas for improvement of fleet

    Specific responsibilities

    • Performing the tasks of transporting authorized goods and passengers in an PiHC vehicle, ensuring its technical and safety conditions and respecting the country's traffic rules and PiHC security rules, in order to provide a safe, smooth and efficient service.
    • Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, radio equipment, spare parts, etc.), performing weekly checks according to the PiHC Logbook, refilling it when necessary, and keeping it clean to ensure it can be driven in perfect conditions.
    • Carrying out a hand over if another uses the vehicle.
    • Ensuring correct loading and unloading of the vehicle, submitting the documents to the receiver of the goods, checking the status of delivered goods, returning the duly completed documents to Logistics and ensuring that the goods have the necessary documents.
    • Ensuring that all vehicle documents and the driver's driving license are valid and in the vehicle.
    • Informing the line manager of any incident involving the transportation of passengers and/or goods.
    • Knowing how to use all types of radios, codes, call numbers and radio alphabets by heart and communicating with base according to PiHC communications policy to inform the driver's position and any potential implications

    Functional/Technical

    • Experience fleet management in a developmental setting
    • Experience Supply Chain Management
    • At least 2 years experience working with an NGO.
    • Experience technical maintenance, and daily Checking of the technical conditions of assigned vehicle

    Your profile (Eligibility Requirement)

    • Minimum of National Diploma or its recognized equivalent
    • Minimum of Two (2) years of work experience, working with Developmental Organization or other NGOs is an Added Advantage.
    • Driving license is required.
    • Technical certification or proven experience in automotive and generator mechanics will be an added advantage.
    • Candidates must be a Computer literate
    • Possess a Positive attitude (demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, approachability and diplomacy).
    • Ability to withstand work-related pressure, and deliver task in line with PiHC quality standard
    • Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Fluency in English Language is a must

    Laboratory Advisor

    Generic responsibilities

    • Ensure adherence with PIHC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
    • Oversee laboratory programmatic reporting, identify and address potential issues proactively, taking corrective actions when needed.
    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Provide accurate information about organizational laboratory standard operating procedures
    • Develop a comprehensive implementation strategy tailored to Nigeria’s context.
    • Ensure Smooth day to day running of the department
    • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the laboratory function

    Specific responsibilities

    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
    • Provide accurate information about organizational laboratory standard operating procedures
    • Troubleshoot and resolve client complaints and concerns
    • Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex client’s issues
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client’s issues and improve processes
    • Maintain accurate records of client’s interactions
    • Manages the PiHC team and PiHC operations and provides strategic oversight of operations.
    • Support and Supervise clinical investigations/test According to medical prescription, with appropriate techniques and following PiHC protocols and procedures.
    • Performing laboratory exams (serology, hematology, biochemistry, bacteriology, or parasitological, according to the context of the mission).
    • Ensuring proper reporting and registration of the sample results to keep a written track of activity and give information to the relevant persons, ensuring confidentiality.
    • Supporting in taking care, managing, and organizing efficiently the laboratory material/equipment.
    • Ensure all PiHC Supporting facilities adhere to the minimum hygiene and safety protocols, doing daily cleaning /maintenance, sterilization, and washing general glassware after procedures.
    • Ensuring implementation of proper sample waste disposal following PiHC protocols and highest safety standards.
    • Support in implementing and management of effective Supply order, stock management procedure, storage conditions follow-up, keep inventory.
    • Design and implement an organized data collection system of laboratory results and all information generated from the analysis done.
    • Responsible for providing implementation support and guidance to Team members.
    • Coordinate and oversee donor visits within the Country in coordination with the Team Members

    Functional/Technical

    • Experience Implementing public health programs in resource limited settings.
    • Experience implementing medical research laboratories.
    • At least 5 years experience working with an NGO.
    • Experience working with young people and adolescents providing prevention serviced with referral options.

    Your profile (Eligibility Requirement)

    • Minimum of B.Sc., M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences or its recognized equivalent
    • Minimum of Five (5) years of work experience
    • Candidates must be a Computer literate
    • Possess a Positive attitude (demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, approachability and diplomacy).
    • Ability to withstand work-related pressure, and deliver task in line with PiHC quality standard
    • Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Fluency in English Language is a must
    • Experience in the implementation of Donor funded project

    Program Manager

    • Implement delegated program responsibilities according to plan of action
    • Ensure adherence of project implementation to Project Document
    • Ensure Smooth day to day running of the department
    • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the Program function

    Specific responsibilities

    • High level representation of PiHC interests in external meetings and planning efforts nationally. 
    • Manages the PiHC program team and PiHC operations and provides strategic oversight of operations and performance management.
    • Develop and supervise detailed program  plans and schedules leveraging on technology to improve outcome in SRH, HIV, TB as well as HRH.
    • Ensure program objectives are met within the specified timeframe and budget.
    • Monitor and adjust project plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Oversee programmatic and financial reporting, and identify and address potential issues proactively, taking corrective actions when needed.
    • Develop a comprehensive implementation strategy tailored to Nigeria’s context.
    • Design, implement, and monitor training and mentoring programs for PiHC Program staff.
    • Monitor and manage project spending according to the approved budgets.
    • Ensure financial compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
    • Prepare and present financial reports as required.
    • Ensure availability of up-to-date needs assessment (preferably multi-sectoral) to inform programme design and advocacy efforts.
    • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are included in the planning and implementation of projects as appropriate. 
    • Consolidation, review, and sign-off of concept notes and proposals input submitted to the country office team.
    • Overall responsibility for effective and efficient management of programming Nigeria consistent with the project management cycle (including reporting to the desired quality and standard)
    • Responsible for the programme budget oversight for all projects/portfolio implemented in the Country and ensure appropriate burn-rates are maintained and solutions to over/under expenditure are applied.
    • Responsible for providing implementation support and guidance to Team members.
    • Coordinate and oversee donor visits within the Country in coordination with the Team Members

    Functional/Technical

    • Experience managing public health programs in resource limited settings.
    • Experience managing SRH, Malaria and TB programs.
    • At least 5 years experience working with an INGO.
    • Experience working with young people and adolescents providing prevention serviced with referral options.

    Your profile (Eligibility Requirement)

    • A Medical Doctor is of great Advantage
    • Minimum of M.Sc. or its recognized equivalent
    • Minimum of Seven (7) years of work experience
    • Candidates must be a Computer literate
    • Possess a Positive attitude (demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, approachability and diplomacy).
    • Ability to withstand work-related pressure, accurately follow instructions
    • Ability to express oneself through good communication skills: verbal and written.
    • Fluency in English Language is a must
