    Compliance Manager

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    What we are looking for:    

    • We are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our company.
    • The Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all compliance-related activities to ensure that our company operates within the bounds of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
    • Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of insurance regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the oversight of compliance processes to ensure appropriate advice regarding regulatory matters are provided to the business in an effective and efficient manner.
    • Dissemination, and implementation of new legislation, local and international standards, policies, and procedures across the organization, produce operating rules, advice, and guidance.
    • Aid in undertaking compliance checks, risk assessments, and the preparation of operating rules and procedural documentation.
    • Collaborate with other units to direct compliance and issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
    • Align compliance with business objectives, execute comprehensive, accurate, timely, and cost- effective compliance quality assurance at operating entities.
    • Remediation of identified improvement areas and provide advisory services to Operation entity employees in accordance with all relevant regulatory control and Codes of Practices
    • Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization, assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests.

    Job Requirements

    The right candidate might have…

    • Bachelor’s degree in either Humanities, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance or any relevant field degree
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry, with a comprehensive understanding of insurance laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • General understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in Nigeria
    • Certified member of Chartered Institute of Insurance Nigeria

    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Ability to efficiently manage multiple sales communications simultaneously.

    Content & Community Specialist

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    • We are looking for an experienced Community manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
    • Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content.
    • You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
    • Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications

    Job Requirements

    • Proven work experience in Content and Community Management
