    Waiter / Waitress

    Responsibilities

    • Greets all guests, provides eye contact, and warm greeting, engage in pleasant hospitality during every interaction, and provide a thank you for each transaction
    • Taking food and drink orders, and engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
    • Making recommendations by providing information about menu items, specials, and beverage options and using an upselling technique
    • Deliver orders to the kitchen and ensure accurate and timely preparation.
    • Serve food and drinks to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and in a good manner.
    • Periodically check on guests to ensure satisfaction with the meal.
    • Present bills and process customer payments accurately.
    • Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
    • Set tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and napkins.
    • Clear tables efficiently after guests leave and reset for the next customers.
    • Managing tabs for customers who open accounts.
    • Organizing and maintaining a tidy work environment.
    • Collaborating with other staff members, such as servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure efficient operations.
    • Communicating any issues or special requests from customers to relevant team members.
    • Managing a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and adapting to changing customer needs.
    • Keep the dining area clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.
    • Assist in general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and mopping.
    • Follow hygiene and safety standards in food handling and service.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

    Guest Service Agent

    Job Responsibilities

    • Greet, welcome, and check in new guests
    • Inform guests of policies during the check-in process
    • Answer calls and direct calls to appropriate parties
    • Relay information to guests, such as hotel rates, services, hours
    • Make reservations, confirm reservations, and cancel reservations if needed
    • Ensure guests are in appropriate rooms
    • Answer all guest questions
    • Field guest requests and relay to appropriate parties
    • Verify guests’ payment methods
    • Deliver room keys, give guests directions to their rooms
    • Maintain records of guest room bookings
    • Compute guests’ bills and post charges
    • Accommodate guests with extra pillows, cots, toiletries
    • Send messages to guests
    • Pick up mail, packages, and documents for guests
    • Field guest requests both in-person and by phone
    • Tell guests about local services, attractions, and dining options
    • Meet with housekeeping staff regularly
    • Create incident reports, daily activity logs, or other documents requested by management
    • Book and schedule conference rooms
    • Help with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
    • Maintain a positive attitude at all times
    • Help guests access the internet and WIFI
    • Go over all guest payments and charges during check-in and check-out as needed
    • Process credit cards and accept cash
    • Tell housekeeping when clients vacate rooms
    • Monitor guest’s visitors to the hotel
    • Enforce hotel rules and regulations
    • Alert management of any wrongdoing or guest misconduct
    • Report emergencies to the authorities.
