Job Summary

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in Amadi Base facilities, including AGO fuel tank farm, fuel purifier and diesel generators. Carry out facility inspections and basic repairs. Assist with passenger transfers. Supervise Fuel Attendants.

Job Details

• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
• Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
• Keep stock of spare parts / materials stock up to date.
• Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.
• Support passengers transfer operations ensuring zero incident.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)
• 5 years in mechanical maintenance role in marine or Oil & Gas Sector.
• Experienced in operating and basic servicing of diesel generators.
• Experience in bunkering and fuel purifier operation.

Job Summary

• Take responsibility for the management of all Amadi Base facilities, equipment and services. Management of all accommodation facilities for national and expat staff. Coordinate all issues relating to the various communities BINL interacts with. Coordinate all governmental required documentation and certification required for base operations.

Job Details

Manage the responsible administration and maintenance of:

• Amadi Base jetty, quayside, offices, warehouse, workshops and laydown areas
• AGO Tanks and accessories
• Crane, forklift and lifting gear
• Cleaning of jetty, disposal of garbage and sewage, and maintenance of gardens
• Fire Extinguishers and other emergency response equipment
• Base Security Systems
• Ensure all required documents and invoices for all service provided by third parties are forwarded for invoicing.

Expected Outcomes:

• Base is always kept in a clean and safe state
• All base equipment has documented maintenance plans
• All certification required for base operations are procured and validated
• Proper records are kept of equipment maintenance and quayside activities

Requirements

• B.SC Estate Management, Quantity Survey or relevant disciplines. An M.Sc. will be an added advantage.
• Experienced in report writing, vendor management and conflict resolution.
• 5 – 10 years relevant experience.
