• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Exposure to vendor risk, software review, and incident analysis.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packing Machine Operator with a background in the food industry—preferably from snacks companies using pouch or sachet packaging with vertical sealing machines.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in operating powder and oil sachet filling machines, particularly vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machines like Pakona.
• You will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, maintaining product quality, and minimizing downtime through efficient troubleshooting and basic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sachet filling machines for both oil and powder products.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters according to production requirements.
• Ensure packaging quality and consistency meet company standards.
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team for major issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
• Keep accurate records of machine performance and downtime.
• Comply with health, safety, and operational regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Trade Test I, II, or III in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience with packaging machines such as VFFS, Pakona, and similar systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Salary
N220,000 Gross Monthly.
