Compose, revise, and implement accounting, financial recording, and filing procedures. Make revisions as necessary.
Support the development of computer models of budgets, financial reports, records, and forms.
Prepare financial and other reports as needed by the firm.
Review expenditures for accurate and complete accounting documentation and the availability of funds.
Perform internal audits of organizational operations as needed.
Develop financial organizational strategies by contributing to financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
Manage cash, investment, and bank balances.
Support the response to queries from the various regulators.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Key Requirements
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university
An ACCA or ACA qualification
2–5 years of post-NYSC experience

Work with project teams and across project workflows from project ideation, project implementation, media/communication, finance, operations, and contribute significantly to the achievement of broad organizational objectives.
Support project officers in ensuring adequate research, data collection, data analysis, proposal writing, collection of program information from surveys/questionnaires, implementation, post-implementation activities, and reporting.
Work with program managers to develop a program plan and documentation.
Engage on community cluster activities where required to ensure adequate communication, seamless project implementation and impact assessments.
Engage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustained communication, information, transfer, research, reporting and learning pointers.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
First degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, International Development, Statistics or in any relevant field.
1-3 years of experience as a program officer, preferably in a non-governmental organization.
Impeccable attention to detail, problem-solving, and innovative mindset, strong team spirit, culturally and politically diverse.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good command of social media dynamics.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Fluent in spoken and written English (inclusive of Hausa for applicants in Abuja).
