Program Intern at iRecruiters Africa Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with project teams and across project workflows from project ideation, project implementation, media/communication, finance, operations, and contribute significantly to the achievement of broad organizational objectives.
• Support project officers in ensuring adequate research, data collection, data analysis, proposal writing, collection of program information from surveys/questionnaires, implementation, post-implementation activities, and reporting.
• Work with program managers to develop a program plan and documentation.
• Engage on community cluster activities where required to ensure adequate communication, seamless project implementation and impact assessments.
• Engage both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustained communication, information, transfer, research, reporting and learning pointers.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• First degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, International Development, Statistics or in any relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a program officer, preferably in a non-governmental organization.
• Impeccable attention to detail, problem-solving, and innovative mindset, strong team spirit, culturally and politically diverse.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of social media dynamics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Innovative mindset, strong team spirit, communication skills, and ability to learn fast.
• Fluent in spoken and written English (inclusive of Hausa for applicants in Abuja).
