    Finance Manager

    • As a Finance Manager at MEDLOG, you will ensure the accuracy of financial results, maintain compliance with company policies, and oversee adherence to local regulations. Your role is critical in supporting senior management, driving improvements, and implementing robust control systems across the finance function.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
    • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
    • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, COA, policies, and principles
    • Improving systems, procedures and initiating corrective actions
    • Providing senior management with accounting and finance support as needed
    • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations have been completed.
    • Ensure intercompany payments and reconciliations.
    • Management of accruals and accounting of operation
    • Preparation and analysis of Profit and Loss for each business unit
    • Preparation and analysis of Balance sheet and cash flow
    • Coordinate the provision of information to the external auditors for the annual audit until final sign off the account.
    • Comply with the requirements of local regulation in terms of governance.
    • Helping to evaluate, develop and implement IT tools, systems, and platforms for finance activity.
    • Superuser for SAP – provide guidance and support to the team.
    • Ensure the mitigation of key risk identified in the business while maintaining and documenting a control manual defining major risks and controls.
    • Ensure team members have clear job descriptions, objectives, and personal development plans.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Strong Numeracy skills and accounting skills
    • Consumer-centric, detail oriented and focused.
    • Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail
    • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team

    Education and Experience:

    • ACCA or ICAN qualified + CFA fully or partially qualified.
    • 7 - 9 Years of Experience
    • Experience in the logistics industry is an advantage.

    Key Account Sales Executive

    About The Opportunity

    • At MEDLOG, the inland logistics arm of MSC Group, we’re searching for Sales-Driven Professionals to join our team as Key Account Sales Executives. This role focuses on identifying and acquiring new business, driving revenue growth, and building strong, long-term client relationships. Your ability to hunt for new opportunities and close deals will be instrumental in our expansion across Nigeria.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Sell our full suite of logistics services and grow MEDLOG’s client base.
    • Drive revenue through new client acquisition and high-end account management.
    • Implements the commercial strategy to achieve new leads, negotiate and close contracts with clients to drive active volume
    • Negotiate contracts to secure long-term business opportunities.
    • Identify new business opportunities and report on market trends.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Service Delivery, Finance, Haulage) to ensure seamless service for clients.
    • Manage financial aspects to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
    • Propose and achieve monthly sales and volume targets.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Proficiency in report writing and business analysis tools
    • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
    • Proven experience in driving sales and closing deals.
    • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally in logistics or shipping
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead generation platforms.
