    Finance Manager

    Job Summary:

    • Our client is seeking to hire an experienced and ambitious Finance Manager who will be responsible for performing effective risk management and the organization’s financial strategy.
    • He/she must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations.
    • The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget); and Weekly cash flow forecast.
    • Preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements.
    • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliation, and corporate/overhead cost allocation.
    • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all external audits.
    • Oversee payment approvals and authorizations.
    • Ensure checks and balances in payroll activities before salaries are processed and disbursed.
    • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
    • Preparation of Monthly Performance Report

    Key Requirements:

    Educational Qualification:

    • First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields from a reputable university/polytechnic.
    • Additional qualifications and professional certification will be an added advantage including ICAN Certification or any other recognized accounting certification.

    Experience:

    • 5+ years overall combined accounting and finance experience.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Good working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles; practices, accounts payable and receivable management, financial management, and financial reporting.
    • Proven working experience in a senior finance position.
    • Experience in preparing accurate and thorough Financial Reports and related schedules in line with established deadlines.
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
    • Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
    • Proficiency in the use of computer applications and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Financial Applications.
    • Good organizational skills and ability to manage documentation and make past and future documentation accessible.
    • Strong management skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.

    Fund Mobilization Officer (Treasury Officer)

    Job Summary:

    • The Fund Mobilization Officer is to assist in developing overall sales strategy and implementing target client acquisition.
    • As the Fund Mobilization Officer, you are expected to maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
    • The ideal candidate for this role should possess the ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines and have a track record of achieving financial targets via sales of company’s products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for sales and marketing of deposits.
    • Managing the growth of assigned high depositors.
    • Actively drive for deposits.
    • Improve the deposit mobilization and retention of deposit and also manage withdrawal attrition.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and individual depositors
    • Innovate and develop attractive value-added deposit products together with the Business Development to achieve the overall deposit targets.

    Key Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or related field from a reputable university.
    • Relevant training and certifications in Banking, Marketing, etc.
    • 2-3 years of experience as a Deposit Mobilizer for a financial institution.
    • Proven track record of being successfully involved in Fund Mobilization.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as an analytical approach to work.
    • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
    • Work with little or no supervision
    • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize
    • The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
    • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; a good team player
    • Strong customer focus
    • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
    • Strong understanding of sales metrics with the ability to identify areas for improvement
