JOB SUMMARY:         Supporting the Bank in all legal related matters
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Review and signoff on all loan agreement & documents
• Continuous review of all company documents and policies.
• Engagement with external lawyers on customer related matters etc
• Coordinate all court cases with the external lawyers
• Interpretation and laws, regulations guiding the bank.
• Customer and client communication on loan default etc
• Review of all counter party agreements etc.
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, contract, and deeds.
• Advise the board on legal issues relating to the bank.

EDUCATIONAL AND PRROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• BSc. in law
• Proven background of cooperate & finance law
• Proven comparable law firm experience
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Administrative and managerial skills
• Analytical ability and strong attention to details
• Current license to practice law
• Experience in corporate policy documentation

Department/ Unit: *SALES
Job Summary: Responsible for the evaluation and processing of loans and act as liaison between customers and the organization while helping qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Attract, meet and interview new and existing clientele and assess eligibility for granting loans/advances,     credit history, the impact and affordability of the loan, etc.
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Acquire new clients and retain existing clientele to the lending program of the Bank, in line with Bank policies and procedures
• Monitor and report to superior’s competitor activities in region
• Field sales of loan products
• Representing the bank at events
• Daily Reporting
• Brand knowledge
• Organizing marketing movement
• Monitor Loan Repayment & Follow Up Arrears
• Support the completion of the loan application and collation of supporting documents/materials.
• Liaise with applicant regarding processing of their loan and outcome.
• Report client’s feedback regarding the lending process
• Promote Bank credit services in the community, raise programme awareness, build networks and relationships within the local community.
• Promote Deposit

Requirement

• BSC in marketing or any related field
• 3-5 years cognate experience from a reputable Microfinance Bank.
• Sound Risk Management experience
