    Experienced Still & Motion Graphic Designer

    Role Overview

    • As a key member of the growth & digital marketing team, you will bring our brand, product growth to life through captivating visuals from static designs to motion graphics that drive engagement across digital footprints and channels.
    • You’ll work closely with the growth, communications, and product teams to create high-quality content that strengthens Baobab’s visual identity and connects emotionally with our audience.

    Key Responsibilities
    Creative Concept and Design:

    • Develop visually compelling still and motion graphic assets for campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to translate ideas into designs that resonate with target audiences.
    • Ensure all visuals are consistent with Baobab’s brand identity, tone, and visual guidelines.

    Motion Graphics and Animation:

    • Create impactful motion content, including short videos, explainer animations, and product demos for social media, web, and internal communication.
    • Edit and animate video content to highlight product features and brand moments effectively.
    • Experiment with creative animation techniques to make Baobab’s stories stand out.

    Storyboarding and Pre-Production:

    • Develop storyboards, visual treatments, and animation sequences to communicate creative direction before execution.
    • Collaborate with copywriters, videographers, and campaign leads to ensure storytelling alignment.

    Collaboration and Delivery:

    • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to execute design needs efficiently. o Incorporate feedback constructively while maintaining design integrity and brand consistency.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. 5. Brand Innovation and Quality Control
    • Uphold Baobab’s design standards across all touchpoints.
    • Stay informed on emerging trends in visual communication, motion design, and technology.
    • Recommend creative improvements that enhance brand impact and engagement.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic and motion design, preferably within a creative agency, fintech, or digital brand.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating both static and animated design work.
    • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro). Knowledge of Figma, Blender, or Cinema 4D is a plus.
    • Excellent understanding of composition, typography, color, and motion principles.
    • Detail-oriented, innovative, and able to balance multiple creative priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a growth and learning mindset.

    Product Marketing Manager

    Role Overview

    • The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for Baobab Nigeria’s suite of financial products, including Instant Card, USSD, Merchant Acquiring, Agency Banking, digital savings, digital lending, and any new products the company may launch.
    • You will bridge the gap between product, marketing, and commercial teams ensuring every product is well-positioned, understood, and adopted by the right audience.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategy & Positioning:

    • Develop and refine product positioning, value propositions, and messaging thatresonate with target audiences.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide product differentiationand market entry strategies.
    • Define customer segments and key use cases for each product line.

    Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning:

    • Lead cross-functional GTM launches for new products and features, ensuringalignment across product, marketing, and sales teams.
    • Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, activation, and adoption.
    • Support the development of marketing assets (videos, landing pages, productsheets, social ads, etc.) in collaboration with the creative and growth teams.

    Product Growth & Optimization:

    • Collaborate with the Growth and Product teams to track adoption metrics, userbehaviour, and retention performance.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance product experience through feedback, insights,and user data.
    • Develop lifecycle communication strategies to increase engagement and reduce churn.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Partner with internal teams (Growth, Tech, Risk, Sales, and Customer Experience) toensure consistent product communication and alignment.
    • Support field and agency banking teams with product training, marketing materials,and merchant engagement tools.
    • Collaborate with Baobab Group’s regional marketing and innovation teams toensure alignment with group strategy.

    Insights & Reporting:

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across awareness, activation, andretention funnels.
    • Produce regular product marketing reports with actionable insights andrecommendations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBAor equivalent is a plus).
    • 3–6 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or digital financialservices.
    • Proven experience launching or managing fintech or banking products.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial ecosystem, customer behavior, anddigital channels.
    • Excellent communication, storytelling, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in data analytics, campaign performance tools, and CRM systems.
