    Executive Assistant

    Summary

    • The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Group Managing Director.
    • The role involves attending to the day-to-day functions that are part of the GMD’s role in ensuring the GMD can focus on high-level leadership and strategy functions.

    Primary Responsibilities   

    • Work directly with the GMD to support all aspects of daily work routine.
    • Maintain the GMD’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements.
    • Coordinate work with other team members as needed; play a key role in the coordination of efforts both within and outside the Firm.
    • Assist the GMD in the development of presentations for internal and external audiences.
    • Determine priority of matters of attention for the GMD; redirect matters to team members to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
    • Engage in a variety of special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, financial spreadsheets, special reports, and agenda material.
    • Keep the GMD advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
    • Compose and prepare letters relating to routine correspondence for the GMD’s signature.
    • Attend meetings and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
    • Organize and maintain the GMD’s office filing system.
    • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Accounting, Economics.
    • Proven experience working with C-Suit Executives.
    • A minimum of Second-Class Upper degree in a recognized university.
    • 5 – 7 years’ proven work experience in similar position.

    Head of Research

    Summary

    • The Head, Research and Strategy is responsible for guiding the investment research function.
    • Providing strategic direction into researching and analyzing broad macro-economic trends and financial markets from a global and local perspective with the aim to providing actionable to information for Investment decisions.

    Primary Responsibilities
    The responsibilities of this role will be broad and include:

    • Provide overall strategic direction to the research associates and analysts
    • Assist with providing relevant quantitative and qualitative research information to the Investment Committee.
    • Build tactical model asset allocations.
    • Analyze and produce periodic reports and updates on quoted and unquoted companies
    • Maintain an extensive coverage list of companies and monitor of all developments on those companies.
    • Review and interpret cash flow statements, income statements and balance sheets on publicly traded domestic and foreign companies.
    • Calculate financial ratios and perform exchange rate calculations.
    • Develop key industry themes and company due diligence working with research team.
    • Provide fundamental research on industry and individual company and help generate timely and accurate investment recommendations.

    • Supervise performance of respective company’s part of portfolio and provide timely updates on individual companies.
    • Support research and periodical publication activities.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Accounting, or other Business-related disciplines
    • 7 years+ relevant work experience.
    • A chartered member of CFA Level 1 (Minimum) is an added advantage.

    Wealth Advisor

    Summary

    • The Wealth Advisor is primarily responsible for meeting Asset Under Management (AUM) targets by engaging high net worth clients and offering sankore's products to address their specific needs and objectives.
    • In this role, you will work with clients to design and implement asset allocation strategies and financial plans that meet their unique circumstances, risk tolerance, goals, and objectives.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Expand and retain client relationships to grow Assets Under Management (AUM) establishing Sankore’s presence and increasing our market share.
    • Develop leads and referrals from current clients and other networks.
    • Increase current accounts and grow team’s revenue through additions to AUM.
    • Coordinate and participate in meetings with prospective clients.
    • Manage on-boarding and KYC requirements for all clients in the region.
    • Develop and/or deliver private wealth education sessions to clients.
    • Partner with stakeholders and user groups from other teams.
    • Research new and emerging trends and technologies in portfolio management.
    • Provide Wealth Management service to clients which includes Wealth & Estate Planning, Trust, Financial Planning, Strategy, etc.
    • Coordinate with Fund Managers on investment policy statement (IPS) with each client based on their goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.
    • Implementation of investment plans and transition for new clients.
    • Monitor asset allocation on a periodic basis relative to policy and goals.

    • Offer value-added fee-based services.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar course of study from a reputable university.
    • 7 - 10 years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services industry preferred.
    • A Masters’ Degree, MBA, CFA, or other relevant post graduate qualifications is preferred.
    • Strong experience managing the needs of High-Net-Worth Individuals.
