    Early Years Teacher

    Responsibilities

    • Create an aesthetically supportive learning environment which fosters inquiry, creativity, thinking and independence that ensures learners meet their learning goals.
    • Understand the use of phonics to introduce learners to reading.
    • Teach the learners the important rules of word problems, problem solving quantitative reasoning skills, and also the use of mental strategy and its diverse methods.
    • Identify learners with special requirements, and create individualized plans.
    • Assist struggling learners to improve their learning abilities.
    • Plan and implement lessonsto stimulate the learners' development.
    • Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to promote the learning and implementation of best practices.
    • Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of learners.
    • Build trusting relationships with learners, parents, and other staff
    • Oversee the learners’ progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades, in order to provide useful feedback.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess B.Ed Degrees in Early Childhood Education or related course with 1 - 5 years relevant work experience.
    • Previous experience as an early years teacher in an International school.
    • Deep Understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage framework..

    Job Description

    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all preschool activities and programmes.
    • Ensure the effective implementation of the Early Years Foundarion Stage Curriculum.
    • Monitor lesson plans, classroom teaching, and children's learning outcomes.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to preschool teachers.
    • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Ensure a safe, clean, and child-friendly learning environment.
