The Duty Agent is primarily responsible for managing check- in queue and ensuring customers get service promptly for all bookings & check- in related activities.
This role reports to Duty Officer.
Responsibilities
Answer inquiries regarding Green Africa Products
Educate and enlighten customer on the new and existing products of the company
Provide customers with travel suggestions and information sources and respond to enquiries
Inform customers of essential travel information, such as travel times, operating terminal etc
Fully trained on all aspects of Ticketing, fares, passenger services and Customer Relations
Responsible for post-departure activities and front-line document
Always seek to secure Customer Loyalty by providing exceptional service
Resolution of Customer problems and ensuring that customers’ needs are met adequately
Book reservations and issue tickets to customers if there is a requirement
Plan route and compute ticket cost, using schedules and computer
Make ticket booking, quote fare, and send to direct customers by email
Prepare and forward daily sales report to the gLead at every close of shift
Prepare customer invoices and accept payment
Respond to enquiries
Determines whether space is available on travel dates requested by customer
Maintain accurate records and update PNR files
Any other duties and functions assigned by the gLeads Airport Manager/ Duty Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in any related field
Creative and proactive personality with “can do” approach
Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills
Responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for employees, including data entry, calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes, and processing of payroll adjustments.
Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and taxes.
Participate in salary surveys and compensation studies to stay informed of market trends and best practices.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with Talent Management and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and accounting for payroll expenses and taxes.
Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of compensation and benefits expenses.
Qualifications
BSc Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in payroll processing and tax compliance, preferably in a multinational company.
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements at all levels.
Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems, as well as MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
