Operational Responsibilities

• Conducts Initial Consultation and clinical evaluation for new clients and way-forward for returning clients
• Conducts follow-up, pre- and post-treatment visits for clients
• Holds enquiry sessions with potential clients, as well as further enquiry for some others.
• Conducts stimulation folliculometry and determine timing of trigger for clients on treatment
• Prepares and types out medical reports and referral letters for clients including ANC referrals for pregnant clients.
• Conducts first, second and third trimester pregnancy scans.
• Provide medical counselling for clients where needed.
• Prepares and conducts a failed cycle review with clients, also a member of failed cycle review committee
• Conducts post treatment reviews with clients, including post IUI, post aspiration/PGD and cancelled IVF cycles (including those who had no transfers).
• Conducts pre- and post-operative reviews for endoscopy
• Conducts “egg retrieval” procedures after stimulation.
• Conducts Embryo transfers for clients
• Conducts intrauterine insemination procedures.
• Supervises BDU to ensure that the policies and programmes of Nordica are being carried out and pursued.
• Undertakes and supervises presentations of Nordica Brand at both in-centre, out-centre and media programmes
• Coordinate fertility school presentations.
• Conducts minor gynaecological procedures like: Sonohysterogram, endometrial scratching and dummy transfers
• Assists in major endoscopic surgeries.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Ensure regularly posts/share of articles, opinions and open discussions on social media channels.
• Contributing clinical expertise to patient care and providing guidance.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications
Educational:

• MBBS

Professional:

• Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), Fellow of the Nigerian Medical College of Surgeons (FNMCS)

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years post fellowship work experience

Responsibilities
Operational Responsibilities:

• Daily follow up calls on registered clients and phone-in clients.
• Dispensing of drugs with instructions to the clients and subsequent drug balancing.
• Discharging and dispensing drugs to clients.
• Scheduling of appointment for clients.
• Carry out scan procedures.
• Needle pricking demonstration to clients
• Ensure dosage and protocols are written and sent to MD as appropriate.
• Donor recruitment and management.
• Ensure nurses work allocation is done weekly and same adhered to.
• Supervise the Nurses aids.
• Liaise with CLO in charge of Endoscopy for booking and counselling sessions.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the housekeepers and Nursing Aid Units.
• Coordinate all training related to Nursing activities.
• Organizing the Monthly IVF and U Forum and understanding infertility.
• Management of Endoscopy instruments and Drugs.
• Scheduling and monitoring clients for treatment.
• Work alongside the CLO’s on follow up and ensure nurses also comply.
• Oversee activities at the Nursing station and Clinic Table.
• Review and approve all requisition.
• Monitor Endoscopy procedures and report any theatre incidence to MD and CM for immediate action.
• Coordinate nursing activities of the Outstation Clinic.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Nursing or its equivalent
• Professional Qualification: Registered Nurse or Midwife, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a care provision and service-related role
