    Dispatch Rider

    Job Summary

    Sooyah Bistro is seeking for a Dispatch Rider to assist with customer deliveries.

    Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Reporting and liaising with the Branch operation manager on purchase, inventory, sorting, and stacking of stock
    • Keeping a record and maintaining cycle counts of the entire inventory in the store.

    • Receiving and verifying the inventory with the purchase order listings.

    • Reporting loss, damage, and any such discrepancies to the Branch operation Manager

    • Sorting all stock and stacking them appropriately after purchase.

    • Maintaining proper documentation processed for the receipt of all purchases and supplies.

    • Ensuring the timely dispatch of order(s) to the appropriate destinations.

    • Coordinating and synchronizing work functions with the vendors, suppliers, and other internal departments of the establishment.

    • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace, and complying with all safety norms while carrying out work functions.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have a valid license
    • Preferably living on the island
    • Good communication, customer service, and organization skills
    • Experience driving a bike or working as a dispatch rider is Compulsory

    SALARY

    • N40,000 - N50,000

    Bistro Cook

    Job Summary

    • Sooyah Bistro is seeking a Bistro Chef to follow our menu and prepare fast food.

    Job Description

    • Closely studying and following Sooyah Bistro recipes
    • Preparing food quickly, following the standard quality and measurement of Sooyah Bistro
    • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace, and complying with all safety norms while carrying out work functions.
    • Handle food as hygienically as is possible
    • Remembering and preparing multiple orders and assembling them to customer satisfaction
    • Able to cook in bulk and use commercial kitchen equipment.
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment are clean and well kept after use
    • Must keep the kitchen and its surroundings clean at all times.
    • Keep an inventory of all orders and stock
    • Store everything properly and in order.

    Requirements

    • SSCE or OND
    • Minimum of 1-year cooking experience in a restaurant or hotel
    • Preferably living in or close to Ikeja.

    Salary
    N40,000 - N50,000 monthly.

    Job Description

    • Managing all affairs for your assigned branch and reporting directly to the Operations Manager within your region
    • Serving as the top Bistro Cook in the branch
    • Closely monitoring food preparations by all Bistro Cooks and Suya Chefs, ensuring that high quality and consistency is met according to food preparation guidelines
    • Ensuring company policies are followed by all employees in your branch
    • Optimizing profits by controlling costs.
    • Training and developing new employees.
    • Resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction.
    • Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices.
    • Providing leadership and direction to all employees.
    • Ensuring product quality and availability.
    • Preparing and presenting employee reviews.
    • Overseeing inventory and sales
    • Assisting customers whenever necessary.
    • Organizing employee schedule.
    • Ensuring that health, safety, and security rules are followed.
    • Taking disciplinary action and reporting to Operations Manager
    • Ensuring a consistent standard of customer service.
    • Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on the mission.
    • Maintaining company standards.
    • Supporting the Operations Manager as needed.
    • Ensuring that all company property are well kept
    • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the workplace, and complying with all safety norms while carrying out work functions.

    Requirements

    • SSCE or OND qualification with a minimum of 1 year work experience.
    • Experience as Cashier, operating till and cash machine
    • Good food preparation skills
    • Preferably living on the Island
    • Experience working in a restaurant will be an added advantage.

    Salary
    N70,000 monthly.

    Cashier

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Description

    • Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
    • Registers sales on a cash register by recording orders, itemizing, and totaling customers’ purchases.
    • Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
    • Bags orders/purchases after payment
    • Processes return transactions.
    • Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, and operating a cash register.
    • Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and Menu list.
    • Collects payments by accepting transfers, POS, or Cash from customers.
    • Verifies credit when transfers are made after purchase
    • Balances Cash Box by counting cash at beginning and end of work.
    • Provides pricing information by answering questions.
    • Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to the superiors.
    • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results by assisting the kitchen staff where and when necessary.

    Requirements

    • SSCE or OND
    • At least 1 year experience in using a till or cash machine
    • Experience working in a restaurant as Cashier will be an added advantage.

    Salary
    N40,000 - N50,000 monthly.
