    Customer Service Agent

    Job Description

    • A Customer Service Agent provides reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.

    Responsibilities
    What will I be doing?:

    • As Customer Service Agent, you will serve on the Front Office Team, to provide services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.

    A Customer Service Agent truly influences the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
    • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
    • Ensure that the Reception Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
    • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
    • Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts
    • Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
    • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
    • Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
    • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
    • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
    • Follow company brand standards
    • Assist other departments, as necessary.

    Requirements
    What are we looking for?:

    • B.Sc / HND in Social Sciences or English
    • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry

    • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest

    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    • Previous experience in cash handling

    IT Coordinator

    Job Description

    • An IT Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of IT systems for business systems, office systems, computer networks, and telephony systems throughout the hotel.

    What will I be doing?

    • As an IT Coordinator, you will support the IT Department in its efforts to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests.
    • These efforts will be fulfilled timely, within budget, and in accordance with IT operating standards.

    Specifically, the IT Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Provide day-to-day support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outages
    • Record all issues that arise and advise the IT Manager of any issues that need further attention
    • Recommend system improvements to the IT Manager

    What will I be doing?

    Ken Fix-It Personnel

    Job Description

    • A Ken Fix-it personnel is responsible for ensurig that guest rooms and public areas are always in perfect condition.

    What Will I be Doing?

    • As a Ken Fix-it personnel, you will support the Engineering Department to improve the conditions of the hotel by carrying out various preventive mainatenance tasks.

    Specifically, a Ken Fix-it will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Prepare, paint, and polish work in the hotel rooms and public areas.
    • Repair broken wall, floor or tiles
    • Maintain all tools, equipment, and ensure working areas are in proper condition
    • Follow all Health and Safety rules within the Department and the hotel
    • Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with Guests

    What Are We Looking For?

    HVAC - Technician

    Job Description

    • An HVAC technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the hotel in other to ensure a well-maintained property to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience.
    • As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task in other sections.

    Responsibilities
    What will I be doing?:

    • As an HVAC technician, you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance, energy conservation, are working properly and to standard.

    Specifically, an HVAC technician will perform the following tasks and more to the highest standards:

    • Assist in the execution of planned preventive maintenance and break down maintenances and actively participate in the renovation projects.
    • Visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment in hotel relating to chillers, air handling unit, fan coil units, ventilation, exhaust systems, freezers, cold rooms, refrigerators, ice machines and bar equipment
    • Perform Equipment repairs and maintain parts inventory.
    • Enter repairs on logbook and maintain records of all refrigerants used.
    • Multitask in other sections when called upon.

    Requirements
    What are we looking for?:
    An HVAC Technician serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar role in a 5 star hotel
    • Must have worked with 500tonnes centrifugal chiller capacity(water cooled) for a minimum of 5 years
    • Must have worked with commercial type of AHU for a period not less than 5 years
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of central AC system, cooling towers, fan coil, chill water pump and commercial type of cold rooms and freezers and commercial type of extractor
    • Must be capable of working without supervision and within established time frame
