    Job Description

    • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
    • Food Safety: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring it's in good working condition. Report any malfunction or repair needs.
    • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, kitchen staff, and management.
    • Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area clean and organized throughout your shift, including the proper disposal of waste and the washing of dishes and utensils.
    • Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities as the volume of orders fluctuates during peak hours.
    • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock, reporting shortages, and ensuring ingredients are readily available.

    Shawarma Cook

    Job Descriptions

    • Prepare and cook Shawarma dishes using recipes and techniques.
    • Ensure that all Shawarma orders are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
    • Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new Shawarma recipes and menu items.
    • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
    • Ensure that the Shawarma station is well-stocked and organized.
    • Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food items.
    • Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates should possess minimum of an SSCE qualification
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
    • Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage industry (Added advantage).
