We are looking to engage a Construction Manager, who will be direct, coordinate and control all construction activities related to the project, according to corporate standards and contractual conditions as far as Quality and HSSE are concerned and ensure that scheduled targets relevant to delivery terms and costs are met.
Responsibilities
Surveys construction activities in order to identify, as soon as possible, any gaps with regard to scheduled activities.
Use the company’s human and materials resources as efficiently as possible in order to ensure that project-related targets are reached (i.e., delivery terms, costs, HSSE, and quality).
Prepare and periodically verify the Construction Execution Plan, with the assistance of the project planner.
State the erection methods and sequences together with the Corporate EM and the YES (Yard Equipment Supervisors); take part to the choice of the most suitable equipment to carry out construction activities according to both HSSE and contractual rules.
Supervise all construction activities; ensure that prefabrication and erection activities are correctly integrated.
Ensures that Quality and HSSE applicable requirements (rules, procedures, standards) are fulfilled and correctly implemented at the construction yard.
Co-operate with the PM, the Corporate EM, and Field Engineers (if deemed necessary), to study and define the methods and sequences related to construction, fabrication, and erection activities.
Ensure the complete execution of works at the yard so as to get the Client’s acceptance of the mechanical completion.
Coordinate and control all construction activities related to the project (either carries out by corporate personnel or subcontracted to external companies).
Take part in close-out report preparation, when this document is a requirement, as far as activities of his/her competence are concerned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering.
Minimum of 15+ years of experience and 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Experience in project planning, and subcontractor management.
We are looking to engage a Commissioning Manager, who will become the main reference for the Client as to product performance aspects and as to technical aspects related to Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Also, act as the main corporate reference to planning, systems present in the product, execution sequences, andtechnical aspects related toPre-commissioning and Commissioning.
Responsibilities
Take part, during the Project Execution Plan drafting phase, in the definition of the Project strategy, by becoming the reference as to all the aspects related to Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities;
Take part in engineering, either developed internally or supplied by the Client, from the very first steps, by liaising with the EM and the Field Engineers as to explanations, changes, and/or optimizations aimed at the definition of increasingly correct commissioning sequences;
Define, together with the EM and SCM, the list of critical supplies for which the COM is required to witness the Factory Acceptance Test;
Define the plan and sequences of commissioning activities, by identifying internal and/or external resources (contracting companies and Vendors’ personnel) and/or assets necessary for the execution of activities in compliance with contractual requirements and with the project plan;
Prepare, together with the EM and PSLs, the Design Documents List of documents related to Commissioning activities, including the definition of the relevant milestones;
Prepare, together with PSLs, subcontract specifications by defining the scope of work of the different subcontractors as to Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities;
Take part in constructability meetings so as to highlight, from the very first stages of the Project up to the construction phase, the obligations to be fulfilled as to commissioning activities, in order to optimize activities themselves, prevent any operational problems, andfoster a safe execution; said obligations shall be acknowledged starting from the engineering phases;
Arrange, together with the Project Team, the Project overall planning as to every aspect dealing with Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities;
Prepare the CloseOutReport, with reference toPre-commissioning and Commissioning sections, by cooperating with the PQM and the CM.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering fields.
Minimum of 15+ years of experience and 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Good Knowledge of main logic and use of the standard Commissioning IT Tools;
Good skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
