    Construction Manager

    Job Summary

    • Join us in building a legacy construction organization and make your mark as we enter our next phase of growth.
    • We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and direct construction and infrastructure projects from conception through to timely completion, ensuring value for money and exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • The role requires strict adherence to QA / QC standards, the achievement of zero accidents through robust HSE practices, and the effective deployment of risk management plans across all projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee multiple construction and infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
    • Develop and execute detailed construction plans, including critical path schedules, milestones, and deliverables, while establishing measurable benchmarks to track progress and address deviations.
    • Lead, coordinate, and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and gangers; assess performance, allocate tasks, and maintain a database of competent trade specialists.
    • Manage construction budgets across all sites by minimizing material waste, controlling costs, reviewing estimates, and implementing measures to prevent overruns throughout the project lifecycle
    • Ensure efficient utilization and availability of equipment, tools, and materials; monitor inventory levels and track material usage across all construction sites.
    • Oversee facility maintenance activities within estates as required, ensuring timely execution and alignment with operational standards.
    • Provide accurate and timely reports on project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management and stakeholders, while staying updated on industry innovations, materials, and construction technologies.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
    • 7 -10 years of experience in civil/building engineering, with a strong background in construction project.
    • Professional engineering certifications or licenses such as (e.g., COREN registered engineer or CORBON-registered builder) is highly preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD, Pro, Orion).
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian building codes and health and safety regulations.
    • Proven leadership ability to inspire and direct diverse teams, delegate responsibilities effectively, and maintain a productive work environment.

    Accountant

    Job Summary

    • The role will focus on budget monitoring, cost control, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, while working closely with site, project & estate management teams to ensure financial alignment and accountability.

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Track project and estate-related expenses against approved budgets and flag variances promptly
    • Monitor material, labor, subcontractor, and estate maintenance costs to prevent overruns.
    • Support cost optimization initiatives across projects and estate operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including: Materials purchased, Ganger and casual labor payments, Equipment repairs and maintenance & Estate-related operational expenses
    • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and review purposes.
    • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports as requested by the Finance Controller.
    • Provide financial reports and cost updates to project managers and estate management as required.
    • Support management with data needed for financial decision-making.
    • Work closely with site managers, quantity surveyors, and procurement officers to align financial data with project activities.
    • Collaborate with the Estate Management team to track estate-related expenses and ensure financial accountability.
    • Serve as a finance liaison between project sites, estate operations, and the central finance team.
    • Prepare bank reconciliations statement for all company accounts
    • Prepare monthly (and annualize) payroll schedule
    • Prepare and follow up on payment of payroll and ensure complete documentation.
    • Submission of tax returns for both FIRS and LIRS                   

    Job Specification
    Education Qualification:

    • OND / HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline

    Professional Qualification:

    • Professional Accounting Qualification or evidence of commencement of (ICAN, ACCA etc) will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within construction, real estate, or project-based environments

    Key Competency Requirement:
    Technical:

    • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word, MS Excel and Accounting software such as Microsofy Dynamics.
    • Sound knowledge of cost control, bookkeeping, and basic financial reporting
