    Civil Engineer

    Job Description

    • Work with superiors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with COREN, safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications, monitoring progress, quality of work, and adherence to construction schedules.
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crew members, subcontractors, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring teamwork and productivity to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
    • Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure that construction work meets quality standards, specifications, and client expectations, addressing any deficiencies or deviations promptly.
    • Coordinate the delivery of construction materials, tools, and equipment to site, manage inventory levels, monitor usage, and ensure that resources are utilized efficiently to support construction activities.
    • Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, identify and mitigate potential hazards, and promote a safe work environment for all construction personnel, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain accurate project records, document daily construction activities, report progress to project managers, and provide updates on project milestones, issues, and challenges faced on-site.
    • Liaise with managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, timely resolution of issues, and alignment of project objectives, fostering collaboration and clear communication channels.
    • Evaluate and respond to change orders, modifications, and variations in project scope, ensuring proper documentation, approval processes, and communication of changes to stakeholders to manage project scope effectively.
    • Identify and address construction-related issues, conflicts, and challenges proactively, proposing and implementing solutions, troubleshooting technical problems, and ensuring that construction activities progress smoothly.
    • Monitor and implement cost-saving measures, ensuring that construction projects are completed within budget constraints and financial targets.
    • Interface with clients, attend project meetings, address client concerns, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality construction work, meeting project requirements, and maintaining positive relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng) with 7-10 years Civil Engineering Experience post NYSC
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data for civil engineering projects
    • Knowledge of relevant civil engineering software and tools
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
    • Experience in real estate development projects is beneficial
    • Must have worked on a building that is more than 4 floors
    • Must be based in Abuja

    Sales and Customer Service Executive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Meet with prospects and clients interested in properties to offer them real estate deals
    • Communicate with clients to identify their requirements and choice of property
    • Oversee the preparation and approval of documents such as purchase agreements and lease contracts
    • Coordinate the closing of property deals to ensure vital documents are signed and payment received
    • Oversee arrangements to give prospective buyers a view of a property before closing deals
    • Act as intermediaries, liaising between property sellers(handyman daige) and prospective buyers to facilitate property deals
    • Conduct the inspection of a property to ensure the terms and conditions of sales are met before closing sales deals
    • Provide periodic reports to sales managers on sales operations and generated returns using CRM systems
    • Conduct surveys to identify the price of competing properties on the housing market
    • Proffer recommendations to buyers and refer them to property consultants who provide legal and mortgage services
    • Ensure compliance with housing laws and policies when conducting property deals
    • Monitor the property market to identify individuals with an interest in property to convince them, and secure a brokering deal
    • Maintain contact with clients to have an opening to discuss future business prospects
    • Participate in seminars, conferences, and events to improve on existing job knowledge and expand personal network.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing or any related field from a recognized University with 3-5 years proven experience in sales/marketing and customer service
    • Must have proven experience in real estate
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet targets
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience in real estate sales is a strong advantage
    • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
