    Chief Security Officer (CSO)

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for the overall security strategy, management, and operations of the organization. 
    • The CSO will develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees, assets, and information.
    • The ideal candidate will have a background in the military, police, or civilian security.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures.
    • Oversee and manage all security operations, including physical security, information security, and personnel security.
    • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, security consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations.
    • Manage and lead a team of security personnel, providing training and development as needed.
    • Develop and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans.
    • Monitor and respond to security incidents and provide timely reports to senior management.
    • Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems.
    • Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc or HND qualifications
    • Former military officer, ex-police officer, or civilian with a minimum of 15 year.
    • Proven track record of managing and leading security teams.
    • Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions in high-stress situations.
    • Age below 50 years.
    • Relevant certifications in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are a plus.
    • Candidate living in Nasarrawa, Abuja, Niger and Kaduna are encourage to apply.

    Working Conditions:

    • Availability for on-call emergencies outside of regular business hour.

    HEMM Operator (Excavator, Dumper, Rigger and Driller)

    Key Responsibilities
    Excavator Operator:

    • Operate excavator machine to dig, move and load materials as per project needs.
    • Perform pre-shift inspections and regular maintenace checks on equipments.
    • Communicate with site supervisors to ensure alignment with excavation plans.
    • Adhere to safety standards and wear protective gear while operating machines.

    Dumper Operator:

    • Operate dumper trucks to carry and unload materials.
    • perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenace on the truck.
    • Follow site instructions for loading and dumping materials at designated spots.
    • Adhere to safety and load regulations to prevent accidents and spillages.
    • Report any failure or damage to maintenace team.
    • Strictly adhere to safety rules by using PPEs.

    Grader Operator:

    • Operate grader to level and smooth out terrain according to project requirements.
    • Inspect grader equipments before shifts, performing basic maintenance checks.
    • Adjust grading blades as needed to ensure precsision in line with site specifications.
    • Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to meet grading standards.
    • Follow all safety protocols and report any issues with the grader.

    General Qualifications and Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
    • 5–10 years of work experience in a mining or construction company.
    • The ideal candidate must have a valid Driver's License (Class G or H).
    • Good communication skills, with the ability to work in a team.
    • Candidates living in close proximity to Kaduna State and its environs are preferred.
    • Must be available to resume immediately.
