    Chief Risk Officer

    Job Objective

    • Create, design and implement the Risk Management framework that supports the strategic goals of the Bank.

    Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for the bank.
    • Actively contribute to the business planning process and provide clear direction on the bank’s strategic goals, translating and prioritizing them into business and performance measures.
    • Develop an effective ERM framework consisting of tools and practices to analyze and report risks for the bank.
    • Establish and identify bank’s risk appetite subject to approval by the Board.
    • Design and implement an effective system of risk control for the bank.
    • Assess credit portfolio risk at individual and corporate levels, tracking credit risk indicators (approval rates, time to decision, vintage quality, PAR, losses) and ensure frequent reviews with team and stakeholders.
    • Identify emerging risks that present new regulatory, fraud or money laundry risks.
    • Provide appropriate guidance, challenge and advice to the CEO and executive management on all risks that they own and that they have accountability to manage.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Finance, Social Sciences or any related discipline; MBA / M.Sc. in any related field or relevant professional certification is added advantage.
    • 10-12 years’ work experience, 5 of which must be in a senior management position.
    • Sound knowledge of risk management and control framework.
    • Excellent risk based and forensic audit skills.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skill.

    Head, Human Resources

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Objective

    • The Head Human Resources will formulate and facilitate implementation of people strategies, focusing on hiring, onboarding, developing, motivating and retaining the best talent in the Bank.

    Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives, aligned with the bank’s overall business strategy.
    • Develop HR policies, systems and procedures, including regular reviews and updates of the personnel manual.
    • Manage the recruitment and hiring processes of the bank (internal and external), in accordance with established policies, and ensure that the processes are completed in a timely manner.
    • Identify the Bank’s manpower needs and ensure gaps are filled will zero recruitment error.
    • Review and advise executive management on annual staffing plans to ensure alignment with the bank’s performance goals.
    • Communicate human resource policies and procedures to all staff, and guide/facilitate the implementation of new/revised systems through continuous interaction with line managers and other staff members.
    • Manage and report HR scorecards for the SBUs and the bank.
    • Develop and implement the bank’s career management, performance management, talent/competency development and succession planning.
    • Manage internal conflicts among staff members and SBUs, and facilitate conflicts resolution.
    • Ensure accurate and timely responses to all staff-related matters

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Public Administration, any Social Sciences or related discipline; MBA / M.Sc. in Human Resources or any related field or relevant professional certification is added advantage.
    • 8-10 years’ work experience, of which 4 years must be in a senior management position.
    • Sound knowledge and experience of contemporary HR issues, local labour law and employment practices.
    • Experience in coordinating and training delivery.
    • Bood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Treasurer

    Job Objective

    • The Treasurer will plan and manage the liquidity, assets and liabilities of the Bank.

    Major Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage the long-term and short-term cash flow and liquidity of the bank.
    • Continuously monitor the liquidity position of the bank and its profit centers, highlighting the projected funds positions on a regular basis.
    • Manage the balance sheet of the bank, and the day-to-day liquidity to support the bank’s activities.
    • Ensure adequate liquidity for the bank’s working capital needs and invest short-term excess cash.
    • Prepare forecasts and review weekly cashflows, ensure monitoring and strict management of the cumulative outflows.
    • Maintain database of the bank’s account details and facilitate documentation requirements with correspondent banks.
    • Liaise regularly with executive management and strategic business units in order to track ongoing changes in business activities and developments.
    • Make recommendations to enhance treasury policies and procedures

    Job Requirements

    • B/Sc. Accounting, Social Sciences or any related discipline; MBA / M.Sc. in Accounting or any related field or relevant professional certification is added advantage
    • 8-10 years’ work experience in a treasury or finance function in a bank or financial institution, 4 of which must be in a senior management position.
    • Sound knowledge of investment and portfolio management.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
